This is a life changing product. I had been living with a hernia for about 4 years. I didn’t realize it until recently when I started having so much pain in my left groin I finally saw a doctor who confirmed I had a moderate size hernia. What I had though was a reoccurring groin sprain was in fact a hernia. What I thought was swelling was actually my intestine popping out. It would sometimes go back in on its own then the pain would reside but recently it had been popping out and staying out a lot more to the point working out was challenging. Squats, deadlifts, and weights incline sit-ups out of the question. This has temporarily solved that problem to some extent. I did a two hour workout yesterday with this on and had very little discomfort. Skipped heavy rope for 20 minutes then did legs and abs. Just leg extension, ham string curls and body weight squats. Inclined sit-ups with 25 pound plate. When I took the hernia belt off my groin was still flat. No protruding intestine like I’d have had before. This thing works and will get me by until my operation in a month. I’m so grateful to be able to workout again.Now here’s the details. Out of the box this didn’t fit me and world not have worked. I have a 31-32 pants size and even with the stretch Velcro belt as tight as I could get it it was not tight enough to apply enough pressure to the hernia to be effective and not move around. I’d only have about an inch of Velcro to hold it on and it would leave a big part of the belt just flapping out there. The solution was simple. I just folded the middle over to shorten it over all by around 6 inches then ran a stitch down it. I took the extra slack from the stitched fold that was about 3” long and laid it flat against the rest of the belt then stitched it down. Now it’s exact size too my waist and provides the perfect amount of pressure to my hernia. It doesn’t slip around even when skipping rope or lifting weights. I have a sewing machine but you can hand stitch it or have a tailor shorten it for you. If you have a 38 inch pants size I think this would be perfect as is for you. I’d say for anyone between a 38-42 inch pants size you’d not need to modify it. It should work pretty good.For the price and ease of customization to fit perfect this is definitely a 5 star product. Anything that can improve the quality of life to this extent is worth the money paid. There’s other hernia belts that are much more expensive but if you look at them they are all essentially the same. I like how this one is simple and can be easily shortened to exact waist size. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 195. Elastic strap fits fine with a little room to go so this should fit someone a little heavier. Velcro is very strong. I found that once you fit the support to your liking, don’t take it apart to remove it. Simply drop it down like your underwear. Then put it back on the same way. Much easier than attaching and removing the Velcro. Provides good comfortable support even without the pad. I only use the pad when I go to the gym or are out for a long time. Read more

The price was super cheap compared to anything else for starters. It says it works for left or right, I just flipped the whole harness inside out and it seems to work for the left side although it's flipped the direction that would be for the right side.I have a surgery coming up in 3 weeks so I hope this does the trick for post surgery. I developed an inguinal hernia as a result of wearing a black belt to tightly after discovering what happened and purchasing this product I’ve been able to manage my symptoms effectively and also reduce my discomfort and pain while I wait to have surgery. Since I can control the tightness of this belt I feel like it would also be an affective product post surgically to manage incision pain and pressure pain until I’m healed. Read more

When I was diagnosed with a hernia I spent weeks searching for a solution to pain and discomfort. At first I was skeptical that a product like this would help me at such a low price however I was amazed to find out that it helped manage all of my symptoms.
