I am very pleased with this product I food prep every day and take my entire days meals with me Every morning. I can fit 4 24 ounce containers in the main part while leaving the top portion available for a drink or sometimes wallet keys and phone if I do not feel like bringing a purse. The reason I did not give five stars is because the zipper to the top portion only works one way I really love the bag so I hope it does not quit working altogether plus the mesh pockets in the back of it fits absolutely nothing because they are sectioned off it would have been nice to have room to fit utensils or straws. I do not have a fridge in my office, so I researched lunch bags for about two weeks before making a decision to purchase this one, because like most of us, I wanted to make sure I was getting a good bag for my money. This bag is AWESOME. The sides hold their square structure but are still malleable, allowing for oddly-shaped drinks holders and leftover containers to fit. While I only put two cans in the lid storage, it has the ability to hold 4. Great size and well made. The zipper opens really easily as well. The part that separates the bottom part and the top can be unzipped and removed completely if you don't want it. The only thing I wish it had was a piece of plastic for the bottom, my last bag has one and I feel like it really helps to protect the bottom. I like that it has two compartments lined with foil. I pack the bottom part for hot food and top part for cold food. I like that it has a little pocket in the front with Velcro. Its insulation could be better.I use two Pyrex small hot packs in the bottom compartment and 1 even smaller cold pack in the top compartment. The cold stays colder better but the hot not so much. Partly also because the top part makes the bottom part colder. But still it works for my 13 year old son who likes his food lukewarm. He eats his lunch 5 hours after packing.Another thing I would wish that the mesh pocket in the book to be one whole compartment instead of being partitioned in the middle. Now the forks etc does not fit. There is no other place for the fork and spoon. I pack them in the top compartment and it is not very convenient since the access to the top part is from the side.The size is good for a 13 year old boy. It is not water proof totally but ok. I find this product to be good keeps things hot keeps things cooler. This is a great lunch bag. I bought this to replace an aged bag. I wanted a similar shape/style but larger. This is perfect. It holds more than my old bag and I LOVE the storage compartment at the top. I put the cold packs in there and it doesn't take away from the space for the food below. The pockets are nice too. I did cut away the middle stitching on the mesh pocket to open it across as a longer pocket so I can put utensils in there. Read more

I received this today and have yet to test how well cooling etc works, but it uses the same material found in most cooler bags so will hopefully be fine.I will be using it this weekend and can update this review if my opinion changes, but first impressions are positive. It's well made and has a decent amount of storage. Enough for a couple of small tupperwear boxes and I am sure it will have enough for lunch for two people.Stiching and zips seem pretty good. The strap is ok. Not the highest quality, but given the price it's hard to complain; plus you can always change the strap if you wish.So far I'm pleased, but will see how it does when I use it on a weekend away. I really love this lunch bag. I've recently started a new job where there's nowhere nearby to pick up lunch and the canteen food leaves a lot to be desired. Initially I bought this lunch bag because of it's plain grey colour. All the other lunch bags I looked at on Amazon were very colourful and i wanted something that was more conservative. When I got it I was really pleased to see the number of compartments and very comfortable shoulder strap. I'm able to put my very large salad in the main compartment and my 1L bottle of water in the upper, rounded compartment. This arrangement suits me well because I don't like my water cold but I do like my salad cold. So I get the best of both worlds. The only thing I'm disappointed in is there's no way to secure this lunch bag on my rolling briefcase. I was really hoping the fabulous shoulder strap would adapt to sliding over the telescoping handle of my rolling briefcase, but sadly it doesn't stay in place.
