It's no miracle cure, but after a few weeks I could see and feel a difference in my skin, hair and nails. My nails and hair have been growing faster. I got it to help with joint pain, and that pain has mostly cleared up and not returned but I'm not sure how much of an effect this had on that. I think it has helped, though.I use and immersion blender with milk (rice, almond, cow -- watch out for coconut milk, it doesn't work that great) and add chocolate protein powder or powdered peanut butter to give it a little extra taste and protein. In reducing carbs in my low-fat, vegetarian diet, I needed to increase protein components, particularly collagen-related amino acids. This does the job. I simply mix a scoop vigorously into a glass of room temperature water and get a nice slurry. It tasted like a weak, nutty shake, quite tasty! Unlike "protein shakes" that are full of simple carbohydrates, this is pure protein components minus the cholesterol of animal meat. It had a nice flavor (very mild, but what I mean is it's not unpleasant). It tastes a little of sunflower seeds. I drink it with about 8 ounces of cold milk, and it tastes good. The consistency is like that of protein powder. Almost odorless (again, it smells a little of sunflower seeds). I haven't tried it with juice or water. FABULOUS!!!! at last!!! it has taken many years to find a quality collagen product with NO side effects,,,,been taking this for 3 weeks now and have found 1 scoop equals 1 tablespoon ....3 teaspoons make a tablespoon.............so it does desolve in hot drinks but BEFORE the milk and give good stir,,,a little does settle at bottom but just wizz around...i personally have a teaspoon in 3 mugs of tea through the day.
