I have always had trouble going. A transit study showed after 5 days most food is still in my small intestine. I had part of my colon removed & things got worse. I was skeptical to be honest. I have IBS-C and have suffered for almost 15 years. I’ve been used by my doctor to test out new constipation medicine that has never worked, I have tried organic pre and pro-biotics. For years I took 2 cap fills of Miralax a day which would intermittently work, but #1 I hated putting something made with bits of plastic in my body and #2 it was annoying getting stopped by TSA for EVERY flight thinking I had a giant bottle of cocaine I was trying to smuggle in. I have been dealing with and suffering with chronic constipation for years. It can be absolutely miserable and very painful. I was in a bad wreck and was having to take pain meds to function which can cause constipation even if they are used in moderation. Then that caused others issues. TMI. Bleeding and hemorrhoids which are horrible too. Ugh. I had tried everything and anything and have had to use laxatives to make myself go. Then I’d be sick for days with what that entailed. I wouldn’t go for days and then interject the laxatives which would lead to being sick in the bathroom for hours. Miserable! I’d use a laxative for a while until my body wouldn’t respond and then move on to another one. It was a vicious cycle that had me so frustrated and discouraged. I was drinking water until my eyeballs would be floating. Fruit and veggies to help. And even after all of that... still had issues with constipation. I started doing research and searched on what to use. I came across these babies. Prunes are great for constipation and I tried eating those but I hated them. Texture issues. They would almost make me vomit. Yuck. Since I have been taking these pills, 2 per day with my other vitamins, I haven’t had issues with constipation. Well, I was doubtful, but it worked great. I get constipated often having IBS, so I have tried a lot of things. Some days, I don’t have the stomach to drink prune juice, so this was an option. I took two pills at 6 am and by noon, I was starting to feel a bit of cramping. By 1 pm, I was running to the potty. You know that feeling where you just blow past everyone and can’t get to the toilet fast enough? Then that feeling of little beads of sweat as relief just flows into the toilet.
