Okay, i'm not a paid responder, but I feel like I should be. I've tried various protein powder's for over 20 years. I was a college athlete in the late 90's and have been a gym rat and health nut since. It is from that perspective that I pay pretty close attention to my diet and try to supplement in areas that I don't always manage well enough in my diet. One of those areas is Protein... I need more of it. In the last few years I struggled with protein supplements. I can't have whey or casein protein due to my milk allergy. I can't stand the taste or grittiness of vegetable protein. I tried this stuff a couple months ago and found its amazing! I'm on my second bag and am able to use daily without dreading it like other's i've used in the past. There is no chalky or funky taste like the vegetable proteins. There's no clumps or gross smell like the dairy based proteins. There is no trying to find the perfect mix to hide the taste or texture. This is tasteless, odorless, and doesn't clump in drinks. I've mixed it in everything from smoothie's to apple juice. I did a lot of research on which type and brand of protein powder to buy. Some of them say they are odor free and taste free, but the customer reviews state otherwise. I came across this product and the reviews looked promising, so I decided to give it a try. I've been on it for 2 months now and I can completely and honestly state there is NO ODOR whatsoever and there is NO AFTERTASTE whatsoever. I add this product to my morning and evening cups of coffee and I can't tell I added anything when I drink the coffee. I also noticed the sagging neck skin under my chin has tightened significantly. This collagen is definitely odorless and tasteless something that I like very sine I had bought some before from bulk supplements and I had to squeeze a lot of fresh lime juice just to kill the beefy taste a bit. I give it 4 stars because it doesn't not work as fast as the Knox gelatin I used a couple of months ago This seems to work slower.With the gelatin, I could not keep up with how fast my nails were growing. I had to file them daily, sometimes more than once in a day. My eyebrows were filling up and my hair was growing back faster all of this slowed down when I switched to this collagen.The biggest drawback though is that it is not at all effective on my joints. When I took the gelatin, the pain in my knees disappeared and I was counting the days that I went without pain medication. During the one month I was taking the gelatin, I took pain medication 3 times. So for me, I am going back on gelatin, it's a little more work to prepare and hard on my stomach if I don't allow it fully disolve but it was much more effective on my needs. Read more

I've been using this product for about six months and have noticed a measurable, positive difference in my skin (healthier), hair (more full of life) and joints. I've been recovering from shoulder surgery and a torn hamstring and feel strongly that this product is expediting both. It also makes your nails grow faster (which, being a guy, just means I have to trim them more frequently but it is a true reflection of how this product does work. Most importantly for me, the product is nearly odorless and has no taste - I mix in two scoops every morning with my first cup of coffee or tea and it dissolves instantly. I really like using this Hydrolized Collagen protein powder from Protein Essentials that comes from a South America bovine source that doea not get fed GMO'sThe powder dissolves well in water and can be used on Food and in almost any of your favorite drinks and sprinkled on food.Found that it did not dissolve as well in sport drinks and orange juice....perhaps I was using too much.I personally prefer the Non flavored version and really like the benefits of regularly using this version of Collagen protein and will continue ordering reglarly. I've been taking this daily for almost 3 weeks. I wanted to allow some time to see what results I may have. I have IBS/IBD and read hydrolyzed protein is beneficial in helping to heal the lining of the gut. I feel I'm too early into taking this as a daily nutritional regimen to speak to that as yet. I will say that I have noticed my right hip doesn't bother me when sleeping too long on my right side as it has in the past. I always sleep w/a pillow between my knees for comfort, but would still have soreness of my right hip when I slept too long on that side. For the past 2 weeks I don't have that soreness waking me up! As to my digestive system, I do feel like I'm going through a healing transition, so sometimes it takes awhile to feel better. I do believe it is helping the lining of my gut though and look forward to continue to take Peptan Hydrolyzed Collagen Protein Powder for a very long time. I purchased this product end of July... started with one scoop, and then up to two full scoops in a couple of weeks...Like anything, after several weeks, I questioned whether it was doing anything at all, but I did decide to continue until the bag was gone. After about a month or so, I began to notice that my knees weren't sore anymore (or wobbly as they were some days) and my balance, which I was thinking was beginning to become compromised, started to improve. And this may sound crazy, but my bowling has improved over the last few weeks to what it used to be a couple of years ago--- related I think to better balance and better joint movement in both my knees and arms. Over the course of the past few weeks, I often wonder if a lot of problems with seniors' mobility requiring the use of canes and walkers might be improved with a little collagen. Definitely works well. I've been taking this daily for a few months now and my knees are WAYYYY better. Every single squat I did you could hear my knees crack, a lot of knee pain, knees giving out on the stairs etc. due to a hereditary knee issue the cartilage degenerates. My knees don't crack anymore and I do squats daily, they don't give out, and its rare I get any pain at all! Ran out for a few days and knees were cracking and giving out again.
