The media could not be loaded.  WORTH IT! Always have standard guards, the smaller the guard the shorter the lifespan. Structure of the plastic and upgrade to metal for the clip/label are definitely going to last longer & they fit better compared to other Wahl attachments. Tighter when snapping on and releasing, which was expected, plus metal clip could be adjusted back to original position with some pressure if necessary.In addition, which I didn’t mention/show in the video. I also have an older set of corded clippers and the Wahl Super Taper, they fit and function just the same.As someone who rocks and maneuvers their clippers a lot when fading/blending, they definitely decreased my worry of guards slipping off unexpectedly, or taking even longer to provide a service, just to avoid a mishap. I already had the grey #1/2 guard but it fit really loose on the clipper - it could definitely pop off if you maneuver it hard against your scalp. The new premium guards fit nice and snug so no complaints there (I have the Wahl Deluxe Chrome).My only complaint is that the #1 1/2 doesn't look like it fits between #1 and #2. I placed it next to the #2 and #3 and you can see that it's got much wider teeth gaps than both of them. A bit disappointing but at least I got a sturdier #1/2 so that is somewhat ok. Read more

I've been using WAHL Balding clippers for my head and beard trimming for nearly 9 years. I've had a number of small guides break on me in the last few years. I could tell as soon as I took these out of the package that they were made of higher quality materials. I was even more pleased when I attached them to my clippers and found they didn't rattle like every other guide I've used before. These clipper guides are a lot better than the guides that come with the clipper. The tips of the guides are not as pointy. They are a bit more rounded offering more comfort. The clip that keeps the guide attached to the clippers is metal and snaps on more firmly. These clipper heads seem like they are built to last. Read more

I bought these two additional guards to compliment my size 1-8 guards that I also purchased. I love those and have had no issues with them. Was very happy with these as well until the metal clip on my 1/2 guard slipped inside of it's holding area and now will not stay on my clippers. I use this guard on at least 50% of all my barber cuts so it's really a pain now. I guess I'll need to order another one but it should have lasted longer than a month or two.
