It just does not seem to really get hot enough to curl my hair. The buttons are too close to the wand and I'm constantly hitting the control buttons with the palm of my hand. I have to stop what I'm doing and fixed it. The straightener is not flush together and my hair just goes right through without touching the wand to straighten it. I don't have thin hair either. I did like how fast it heated up and the multiple heat settings. I also liked that it straightened and curled. What I didn’t like was that the heat settings and on/off switch are on the handle. While straightening or curling my hair, my hand, while holding the appliance, would either change the heat setting or shut the unit off. I loved this straighter .... while it lasted! I ordered in March, I use it a few times each week, it has already fizzled out and barely warms up. Works well but the on if button is right where you grab in to the handle. Everytime I use it, I hit the button and accidently them it off. Very frustrating. Read more
