Just bought my 2nd car seat. The 1st one was purchased as a shower gift over 2 years ago. It saved my baby's life. She was in the back seat of her grandparents 'car when they hydroplaned going 60 miles an hour, slide over 4 lanes of traffic and slammed into the median. She had a little bruising on her chest where the straps held her but she was completely fine. Meanwhile 1 grandparenthurt their neck and 1 broke their foot. It is not a particularly light car seat. I was able to keep my daughter in that car seat until she was 18 months. I have the base in my car. But she was just strapped in with a seatbelt in the accident with the grandparents. Read more

This car seat saved my 3 month old daughters life. We were in a major accident where my brand new Passat was totalled. My car went 1500 feet down an embankment on the highway and she was totally fine. I found out the hard way the the side impact protection works wonders. She was smiling and playing by the time they got us out the car. I have since been shopping around trying to get the same features on another car seat and it can't be matched. Most car seat have not protection around the head area but this one does. The typical car seat has SIP (side impact protection) on the car seat itself, not in the headrest. That's ok but not great because your child's head is free to move around until it hits the side of the car seat to get this protection. That's totally unacceptable for me. That would leave my child vulnerable to neck or head injuries and I'm not willing to take the chance with her life. With that being said, I have repurchased this car seat even though she may only be in it a couple more months but she is totally worth every penny. After this seat I am moving her into a Diono Rainier because of the SIP and the fact that it rear faces up to 50 pounds and 44 inches. Read more

I’m a first time mom & I have twins so I was expecting heavy car seats but these are super light weight for how durable they are.Being a first time mom, I didn’t have any prior knowledge of how to loosen the seat belt. I literally had a melt down crying because I was late for my twins doctors appointment because the belt was too tight & I could not figure it out.I tried, my father in law tried & my mom (who has 4 kids) tried & we could not figure it out. We were wary about purchasing this carseat after reading reviews that people had received carseats manufactured in 2015; however, we took a chance due to the great price. Our carseat was manufactured in March 2019-so we were glad we did! It fits with our stroller, the Agio Z4 without adapters. The canopy is not as high quality as other infant carseats we considered, however, if it becomes an issue we will use a blanket or purchase a cover. Overall, we are happy with our purchase. After 5 months the liner of the hood started to deteriorate and was dropping particles on our baby getting in her eyes and mouth. This car seat is defective and a hazard, I will no longer use it and would not recommend to anyone. Read more

I rated this product at 4 stars based on it needing to have the butt insert taken out so that my newborn was able to securely fit in being the size he is. Other than that, it’s very easy to use, it’s comfortable and often times my child falls asleep in it. the car install also was very easy and headache free. Overall great product. Read more

Extremely easy to install and very well padded. I'm told that this car seat is a little heavier than some alternatives, but it works great for us. Our preemie baby fits snuggly with the straps properly adjusted and it's a breeze to use. Read more
