It sucks to need these, but you might as well find the product that works the best at the best price. These are essentially identical to the Depends brand at a fraction of the price. Like Depends, if you are a male, they are about twice as long as they need to be. I trimmed off the part that extended way too far back and eventually realized that I could make two usable pads out of one. I think these are meant to be unisex and I suppose this wouldn't work for a female. But for a guy, if you don't trim them, they extend way back between your thighs where a) you don't need them and b) they just bunch up and are uncomfortable. I used to trim off the back part and throw it out until I realized that I was throwing away as much as I was using. So that drives the cost even lower. The absorbency is equal to the Depends as is the adherence to your underwear. I can find no difference,, and believe me, I checked them out thoroughly. These Prevails are like the thicker, more absorbent pads from a couple of years back and last 6-8 hours. They capture liquid and resist compressing and leaking when I sit on a moderately full pad.I have bought store brands which are generally thicker and more absorbent than the national brands, like Depends. However, it seems that all brands come out with "new and improved" versions every 6 months that are thinner and less absorbent: the dominant trend of thinner pads with gauzy wings last me only a couple of hours. The package says for male incontinence.I am female I was given a couple of packages of these by my neighbor whose father sadly passed away.I figured I'd give them a try and yes I have tried many female products of this nature but this package of male incontinent pads seems to work a lot better then the female ones.I particularly like these not only for their absorbency but also the shape and size of these are a lot more comfortable than the female brand.Ladies I say give them a try you'll be pleasantly surprised 😉 Read more

I tried other male pads and develop serious allergic rashes. I can wear the Prevail Male Pad day and night without getting any skin reaction. Very comfortable, too. Easy to apply to underwater and adhesive won't stick like Depends. I use it to absorb overflow dribbling and occasional nighttime urination and never wet my underwear or bed yet. I do wish each pad was individually wrapped for sanitation but I just place each opened pack into a plastic bag. Just simple ingredients like 100% cotton, aloe, chamomile, Vitamin E and silica gel absorbent. No preservatives or harmful chemicals added. Read more
