The new Flexi Fit Toilet Trainer from Pourty has a unique squeeze flex action and adjustable prongs so that it fits securely on to the toilet seat. Adult toilet seats come in many shapes and sizes and most potty seats have no size adjustments. This means that they can wobble around making the child feel insecure when they sit on them. The Flexi Fit's clever design allows you to adjust it once per toilet seat for a great secure fit each time. Its squeeze flex action enables you or your child to put it on and off the toilet easily. The potty seat is made from a sturdy and smooth plastic and is contoured to make it comfortable for the child to sit on with confidence. It also incorporates a full splash guard below and above the seat to prevent unwanted spills. The Flexi Fit comes in a stylish but discrete white with a blue rubber rim. Please note that the Flexi Fit may not fit as securely to large rectangular toilet seats.

I purchased this to replace a Baby Bjorn potty seat. Mostly to save money. The Baby Bjorn last us through 2 kids so about 4 years. It finally got a cracked handle so it was time to junk it.My son is 3. He knows how to use the potty all by himself. This includes putting the potty seat down, climbing up and down on his own, etc etc. This seat comes with two plastic pieces that slide onto the seat to adjust to the size of your toilet seat. They are extremely loose and when I tried to adjust it to the proper setting to keep the seat stable the plastic pieces moved to the next setting.I came to the reviews and read that you have to squeeze it to get it on but this would not work for my son. He has past the age of needing help with the potty so I shouldn't have to go into the bathroom each time he needs to go to put the seat on the toilet.I also read the review about the plastic piece getting stuck in the toilet! You seriously would never consider this to be an issue unless you have had to replace a toilet because something was stuck. We have and it isn't fun or cheap! When I saw how loose the pieces were I was really concerned that my son would drop one into the toilet and flush and we'd have to buy ANOTHER replacement toilet. So I sucked it up, returned this one, and paid the extra for the Baby Bjorn. It has no loose pieces. It has a dial that you can adjust to the size of the toilet. Plus it has a handle that is perfect for hanging. I recommend the Baby Bjorn over this seat! Read more

My wife and I looked around at all kinds of little toilets and toilet helpers for our little toddler. He's 2-1/2-and-change and is about ready for potty training. Being our only child, this is new territory for us. We looked at all kinds of toddler toilets and toilet seats, some expensive and some cheap. Our first thought was, the more expensive, the better. We assumed the adage "you get what you pay for" would apply here. For us, it didn't--not at all!I'm glad I did my homework. We almost purchased a much more expensive potty for him. We decided not to get a toddler toilet mainly because it's rather disgusting having to empty it out and clean. Also, our bathroom is small and there's a space issue with where to put his toilet. Instead, I set aside a few evenings to research on Amazon tons of potty options for him. I read probably hundreds of user reviews and finally settled on this seat. I showed it to my wife and we discussed it together. The reviews were very good and it appeared the product would fit our situation really well. With our child, he's been interested in the toilet for a while. He goes in and likes to flush it incessantly. If we don't keep an eye on him, he'll unroll the toilet paper all over the floor and try and stuff it in the toilet (OMG!!!). He's watched us use the toilet and it makes him want to use it, so we put him on it and he just sits there with a smile on his face, not knowing what to do. Of course, at this stage, we had to hold him closely, since his little bottom would fall into the seat.So we purchased this Pourty Flexi-Fit trainer toilet seat, which would fit onto our existing toilet seat. This would enable him to do his business just like mommy and daddy do. He seems interested in copying us and going the same way we do, so this seemed like a logical solution to us. We have a little step-up stool in the bathroom he uses to reach the sink. We put that at the base of the toilet, so he can step up and get himself on the seat, with our help, of course. I kept my fingers crossed and we patiently waited two days for the trainer seat to arrive. At only about $16, I was skeptical this would be a good solution, but also hopeful. According to my research, this *should* work well. The Pourty seat arrived and we immediately unboxed and unwrapped it, then I figured out how to get this to work on our elongated toilet seat. It has two tabs on the underside-rear of the seat that are adjustable. You move these to match the dimensions of your seat, then when you place the Pourty Flexi-Fit seat on your toilet seat, these tabs bend back a little and slip in place, holding your toddler's seat snugly against the inner edge of the toilet seat. It actually works really well. It doesn't slip-slide forward or back or side-to-side. When you take it off, you just lift and the tabs bend, allowing you to pull the toddler seat off. Since it's small and thin, it's easily stored for later use.We put our toddler on the seat and he smiled, but didn't do anything to make us proud. So we talked to him and told him to tell us when he needed to go number 1 or number 2.So what did he do? He started telling us when he did 1 or 2 after he was done. He didn't understand the order of operations. We didn't pressure him about it, understanding that he doesn't understand yet the difference between telling us "before" as opposed to "after".We finally had success at bath time. One day while asking him to go while sitting on his potty seat, before bath time, he didn't go. So we put him in the tub. The moment his little feet hit the warm water, he started peeing. So we had an idea. The toilet is right across from the tub. The next day, before his bath, we put him on his potty seat, where he could also see the tub. He didn't pee. So we turned the water on in the tub and he peed! It was his first time. We showered him in tons of praise and love, telling him how proud we were in him, and that he's now just like mommy and daddy. He beamed from ear-to-ear, so happy! He's since done this two more times. So he's on his way to learning how to go just like the big people go.And we're here to report that the Pourty Flexi-Fit training seat works great! It's working very well for us. For the price, this is a fabulous option for parents that we heartily recommend. Don't be intimidated by the cheap price. This is a product that actually is an excellent, low-price option for parents with toddlers who are ready to learn to go just like the big people do. Read more

My boy has no trouble getting onto and off the Pourty Flexi-Fit Toilet Trainer and seems comfortable using it. Plus, the splash guard does a good job preventing spills. All in all, the trainer works well but not exactly as stated. When setting up the Pourty Flexi-Fit Toilet Trainer you are suppose to adjust the prongs to be a little further in from the toilet seat edge. This means to put the trainer on the toilet seat you must squeeze the rear of the trainer in slightly. The trainer then stays securely in place because the prongs are pushing against the edge of the toilet seat. However, when I adjust the prongs to be a little further in from the toilet seat edge the rear of the trainer bows up. As a result, I adjusted the prongs on the trainer to be flush with the toilet seat. Setting it up this way, the trainer does wiggle a little but is easy to pull off and put back in place because it just lifts up when taking it off and slides down when putting it back, no flexing necessary. I would have preferred the toilet trainer work as described so it would be very secure on the toilet seat. Still, I'm happy with the purchase as it looks nice, does a good enough job staying in place, and my child has no problem using it. Read more

After many disappointments I finally decided to purchased the flexi fit pourty and boy was it worth every penny! Nothing seemed to fit on my akward square toilet seat (square at the front and for some silly reason rounded at the back!).. after finding many useful reviews on the pourty fitting square toilets, I decided to take the plunge and it was definitely money well spent! The adjustable prongs make it that bit more secure, and even so its not a perfectly snug fit, there is no movement and that's all that matters! Hopefully little one will love it as much as I do!Hope the photos help anyone struggling to find a seat that fits a square toilet!! Read more

Really good product. However, the clasp that you can adjust to fit the toilet seat to any toilet aparently doen't fit to the edge of the adult toilet, so the toilet seat can still move about. There are small gap on all sides so plenty of room for the seat to move about and become a hazard for my toddler. I've had to on many occassions bring the seat forward whilst he was sat on it. The grip is strong and my son has become very confident in sitting down on the toilet by himself. This seat site better on a oval/U shape toilet than my own which is rectangle/square shape. I personally don't think the range of toilets seats are made to fit on rectangle/square shape toilet seats. Its a shame as toilets have upgraded and so should toilet trainer seats. Read more

It's a great product in theory with some novel features to keep it stable. But my toddler hated it the moment he saw it. He particularly didn't like the idea of the gap under his bum and removed the pourty forthwith from the loo without gracing it with his presence. Also we have a square toilet, and the seat doesn't fit it securely. Which it says on the packaging but not the listing. Read more

Well the product certainly seems to be sturdy and well made, but unfortunately we won't be able to use it as we seem to have the one toilet seat that the flexi-fit does not fit, so our search continues! It isn't an issue with fitting in the opening. It seems our toilet seat is shaped towards the back which means the training seat can not sit flush. (see pictures) Read more

Inner dimensions of our rectangular toilet seat is 29 x 22 cm. It was nightmare to get a child seat to fit. This is amazingly sturdy (even when the studs don't extend to reach the sides completely - I think there is ca. 0.5cm gap) as it has good anti-slip sides. It doesn't wobble so my son finally left his potty. It's one piece so it's very easy to clean. And we can take it with us on travel to fit other toilets too. I'm very happy with this product.
