Our daughter has Autism and potty training has been a real challenge for her. She just turned 3 and still showed VERY little interest in using the toilet. She is completely aware of her bodily functions and announces when she needs to go, but would only occasionally agree to try the toilet and would usually just announce that she needed to go and then hide while she did her business. This chart is really helping encourage to try more often. She likes the visuals showing the steps for going potty, and where to pull the TP down to, and of course LOVES putting stickers on things (she even added extra ABC stickers behind our backs lol). She still doesn't use the toilet ALL the time, but she is absolutely using it more. I'd say, at least 50% of the time. She wants to fill up a row with stickers because once she does that, she gets to pick from the "Potty Prize Box" we made (pictured, but a little low on prizes at the moment). She's so proud when she gets to add a sticker and gets closer to her prize box. I think it's a fun (non sugar/candy) system for her and has really encouraged her to, at the very least, TRY to use the potty more consistently. Read more
We were at the end of our rope with potty training. I know every kid has their time, but the expense of diapers is a lot. Our daughter would go number 2 pretty well on the potty but number 1, forget it. She had no interest in going anywhere but her diaper and she didn't care about being wet. So we tried this and it's like a game. We reward her for number 1 and 2 but super stress number 1. We haven't really gone by weeks because she just likes putting the stickers on. It's nice to have a chart to get her excited about putting stickers on when she sits.Also something to think ahead about is where you are going to hang everything. There are a few signs as well as the charts which can clutter up a small bathroom quickly.Overall we are happy with our purchase and the price is worth it. Read more
Loved my purchase of the unicorn potty chart. Bought it for my 2yr old for potty training and she loved it. She loves unicorns and loved the chart, reminder charts, stickers and crown. We potty trained over labor day weekend and by sunday we were down to 1 to no accidents. From all my research I also bought unicorn underwear, potty watch, a potty ladder to attach to toilet and made a container for her "potty treats" All things seemed to work and I have a mostly potty trained toddler! In a few weeks I will give her the certificate that came with unicorn potty chart. I def would buy again and will def recommend to other parents! Read more
Love this Unicorn Potty Training Chart! My daughter is 28 months old and was just not motivated to potty train. I had tried all the books and videos. Nothing was working. I am very satisfied with my purchase! The potty training journey is anything but easy. This makes it a lot less complex. You might be thinking what could a silly chart do? Well it has done wonders for our household. My daughter has trained so well, with very few problems, with the help of this chart. It comes with so much exciting stuff, that even you'll want to participate lol. What I do is give my daughter one sticker for pee and two for poo. By the end of the day she gets to choose a treat, from the treat bucket. You can allow your creativity to run wild...it doesn't always have to be candy or prizes. It can be a healthy snack or an outing for the day. Or whatever you'd prefer. It also has an instruction chart on how to properly go potty, the steps to guide your child to conquering the potty. She is so excited to go potty now that she has this to look forward too. I am excited for her. The design is precious for your little magical princess. By the time potty training is a full success, then your child gets awarded the crown. Doesn't get much better than that. It's been a life saver in our house. I was a little hesitant to purchase this because I was skeptical it would really work. My daughter is 3.5 and was potty trained at 2.5 but for some reason went back to peeing in her undies and then me having to put diapers on again. It was a struggle. By the time she was 3, I was like ok I have to do something. I bought this and started using it with her with such enthusiasm and always let her put the stickers on the chart. She was so excited every time she had to pee or poo. Well, 4 weeks is all it took for her to completely dump the diaper and start using regular undies again. This potty chart is perfect! For as much as you get, for only $10 is amazing! 👏 My 3yr old daughter loves it and was so excited when it came in the mail. I explained all the rules to her and the "steps to follow" chart definitely helped her know what to do in the potty. She gets 1 sticker for pee and 2 for poop. We are on week 3 of the chart and she is basically potty trained already!!**Some tips that help is being VERY patient and being overly excited when they go potty (like jumping up and down happy) this makes them excited to go potty all the time. Ditch the diapers/pull ups and get them underwear. They will have accidents but remain calm. I got my daughter undies with her favorite characters on them which is Frozen. I told her not to pee or poo on Elsa or Olaf because they will get really sad and it really works because now she never wants to pee in her undies! Read more
We have really struggled to get our little one starting potty training, so thought I would give this chart a try. It’s such a great concept and our little girl loves the design, and gets excited every time she sits on the potty because she knows she will get a unicorn sticker afterwards. She also loves the signs which I have hung in the bathroom, she checks them to make sure she’s flushed the toilet and washed her hands.The only thing I would say that I wasn’t too keen on is the section on a the chart where you write the little ones name. My child is a real pest and scrubs it off constantly, maybe a sheet of stickers with letters on it would be better to stick the child name on.All in all, I’m very happy with his product and would recommend. I have a little girl obsessed with unicorns and purple so this was perfect. Really good quality and the extra bits are really good for prompting. Loads of stickers so won’t run out either. We’ve tried a few different charts and this one is the best. I like that there’s just one box a day and you can put as many stickers as you want on it. I’d say this has definitely helped us crack potty training. You won’t be disappointed! Read more
