This little mirror has a lot pros and only one con. First the good:-It's a real mirror.-It's very thin, perfect for travel or not adding bulk to a purse or wallet.-It's slim enough to fit in a wallet.-It's very light, again perfect for travel or not adding weight to a purse.-The design is pleasant and not tacky or cheap looking. It's inconspicuous.And the bad:-Texture. The cover is a very thin aluminum piece that feels flimsy. The edges aren't sharp enough to cause abrasions but they feel very unpleasant. It's also impossible to avoid them when you close or open the mirror and it doesn't snap shut neatly. I use this a lot less than I would if it didn't feel so unpleasant.All in all though, if you're looking for a hand held mirror that doesn't take up space or add weight this mirror is hard to beat. I bought mine for painting — needed something super-thin/lightweight for packing into mountains with my gear, yet also big enough to be able to clearly see a good-sized “mirror image” with both eyes of my work-in-progress. (Standard make-up compact mirrors are too small.)* The quality of the mirror itself is great — there’s no warping/magnification in the reflected image whatsoever, (i.e. no “fun-house mirror” effect).* The collapsed mirror is indeed super-thin and the whole package is very lightweight.* I was surprised at the thinness of the metal cover/stand, like some of the other reviewers. But the unit has held-up well, even with my accidentally dropping the darn thing off my 40-inch high painting table onto a hardwood floor last weekend. Even after the drop, the unit still looks like new — glass/mirror still in perfect condition, cover/case straight and true, secure latches closed, and no image warping, (see photo taken just moments ago).Yep, I’d recommend this mirror. I'm not too vain (anymore) and I usually keep my hair low-maintenance short. But since my haircut guy doesn't have arms that are 6' long, I got only one cut since Covid-19 arrived, because I was looking way too hairy. Masks mess with my 'do, and I just got some clear face shields, and longer locks can and do spring up around the headband. I have the same mirror from the same company but i wanted a smaller one. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of the mirror. It was perfect and exactly as shown in the picture. My order came in broken which happens since it’s a mirror but they replaced it right away. Customer service representative named Alice is so nice and very helpful. Very difficult to open, many rough edges. I’m keeping it because it fits in the tiny space I need to keep it but I would NOT BUY THIS FOR A YOUNG GIRL, it’s sharp, flimsy and difficult to open. Fine for a grown up ‘girl’ who is more careful. Read more

I agree with what many of the reviewers has said about quality control. The mirror came in a flimsy plastic bag without any padding. Honestly, I am quite surprised that it wasn't broken. I must have gotten lucky. I think the lack of padding was why the shell was dented. But...for the price of the mirror, I don't care about the dent. Ultimately, all I care about is getting a thin, lightweight mirror, and this does the job. Read more
