This is a big ol' jar of skin cream! I live in a very windy place in Alaska and my face suffers for it in the winters. I didn't think I would ever get rid of the rough skin between my eyebrows and on my cheeks. After two nights of applying this after the shower, it is gone! This is the most amazing skin cream I've ever had in my life.I purchased this at the end of July, early August....and I still have about half a jar left. I use this product EVERY day, each morning as I get ready. I also use it every time I get out of the shower. My face has REALLY dry skin, and I was embarrassed forever about the way my skin would peel and flake. It was so gross and unattractive! I had tried moisturizers, exfoliators, etc, and nothing worked. But Ponds did the trick immediately! My Mother used POND'S exclusively her entire life, & had beautiful skin to the end. Luckily, she passed on many skin-care tips. Even though I've used countless other brands, I always return to PONDS. WHY? Because it's the richest, creamiest, most-softening cream ever! Not to mention the best bang for your buck. To keep it bacteria free, I scoop out 1/2 - 1 teaspoon per use, & love the way it quickly penetrates into my face, neck & hands. Never do I see a white film, which means the cream isn't penetrating. Tapping it lightly (never pulling) with my ring finger in & around my under-eye area works magic! Not only does it work great as a night cream -- it serves as my Eye Cream as well. Being thick & extra rich, I apply lightly & blot before using as a moisturizer under makeup. At 85, I don't have the first crows foot, & my entire family (including grown granddaughters) brag constantly on my skin. I've always been . . . and always will be vain about my skin; therefore, I spend what it takes for results. Luckily, it's reasonably priced, because I literally slather it on. I have a ridiculous patch of dry skin that starts on one cheek, goes over my nose and between my eyebrows, only to land on the other cheek. It makes putting foundation and other beauty products on my face awful, because my skin will always be flaky and patchy in those areas. I have tried SO many moisturizers and none of them have hydrated like Ponds has. My routine now is scrubbing my face, patting it almosy dry and applying Ponds generously, focusing on my problem areas the most. My skin feels nice after I use this product. I have not had a problem with clogging pores either. I have combination skin that seems to dry in the climate I'm in and this has been working great! I will continue to use it and would recommend it. My mother used Pond's products for years and had very soft and beautiful skin even at 92 when she passed away. It feels good and it smells good. I'm 72 and I've been doing the "natural" and "organic" thing for quite some time now. I've been using Emu oil and Jojoba oil on my face and it's really worked well. Recently my face has been feeling itchy some times though. Nothing wrong...just dry winter heat I think. The other night I was shopping on Amazon and the skin around my eyebrows starting itching. I grabbed the Emu oil and put a little on. It helped but still didn't feel the way I wanted it to. All of a sudden I remembered the smell of Ponds and put a jar in my shopping cart on a whim. I'm glad I did. It feels so good on your face when it's dry. A good basic moisturiser. I like the texture and I love the scent. I find that it doesn't clog pores, which does tend to happen to me with creams, and I can successfully use it as a cleanser/make up remover as well. Mineral oil is one of its main ingredients, I think this is why it doesn't clog my pores, but it also means it's made up of inexpensive ingredients.I use it as a night cream and a cleanser.Ok, I bought my pot for about £16, but I've noticed the price has reduced significantly, so my comment on the price is no longer relevant., I'm very glad to say. What a bargain! I hadn’t used this brand in years but decided to order it when my other more expensive cream ran out. I forgot how nice it was so I’ll give it another whirl.
