They say the average woman loses 15 - 30ML her entire period. I just went through 30 of these in one period. That's enough to donate a pint of blood. Super Plus tampons just can't keep up. Ladies, you know how it is when the bleeding just won't stop. Your whole life is altered, and you can't leave the house for long periods of time, and you certainly can't be far from a bathroom. This product is the only one that helps me feel like I'm having closer to a normal period than anything else I've tried. Yes, I still have to change it every hour and a half (or less, sometimes on super heavy days), but it's better than every forty minutes with super plus tampons. I find these to be more convenient and hygienic than the diva cup. I still have to double up with pads but at least I can have at least somewhat of a life with both. These can be hard to find so it's nice to always have them available online if needed.Bonus tip: take Ibuprofen to lessen bleeding. It helps. These are a game-changer if your monthly experience is akin to the elevator scene from The Shining. It actually makes me angry at all the other absorbency categories (looking at you, Super Plus) because they're so ineffectual in comparison. Definitely reserve these for big-gun days though as they can be uncomfortable (or you can kinda feel them) if you're not bleeding heavily.I will be DEVASTATED if these are pulled from the market as they're the only reliable tamp for my insane ladytimes. After 3 kids, my flows are shorter and heavier. I rely on these to get me through the "deluge" of my heaviest days. I was on vacation last month and bought Tampax Pearl Ultra in a pinch and they did not hold up, they were more like super plus. Yay for major leaks on vacation, ugh! Since it was my heaviest moment, I didn't completely blame the tampon. I used to drive way out of my area to purchase these at Walgreens, FAITHFULLY. At one point -when they first hit the market. I could find them a little easier. But, I just assumed not too many women bleed like a gutted pig! I’m sorry for being graphic but, my cycles kept me a prisoner at home. A pad just was out of the question and gross. Given how heavy my cycles are. Plus with the paranoia of it all. I was afraid to sit on furniture. But, I lucked up found these and they can hold up to the task. Along with a overnight pantyliner. I can go about my normal routine. Without timing how long I can be out and if where I am going has a clean restroom to use. I now order these online and get them in a day. After giving birth to my second child, my periods changed. Instead of 5 days of moderate flow, I now have two days of VERY heavy flow followed by 2 days of super light flow. Ladies who have a heavy period, look no further! These are amazing!
