We had one for our oldest child 7 years ago and it was such a fun toy. We wanted a new one for our youngest. The new Elefun popper is CRAP. It broke right away. I mean after pushing the button 3x it stopped working. They sent a replacement which because of the busyness of life was opened a couple of months later. My grandson loves this toy! My only complaints are it only comes with 4 balls(weve already lost one lol) and if you buy their brand balls to add to the ones that come, their about 1/2 price of the actual toy! I found some off brand same size & type to try but def wish they gave more with the orig product. Also, the balls dont always go in the slot when they pop out so you have to chase them. Plus if you dont have enough pressure(would be helped by more balls)they dont pop up. Def wish those worked better.My grandson is only 10mos so it takes a bit to grab them & put in the slot, more balls would make it more fun + better overall in my opinion.Aside from those minor ish issues, this is a great toy! I have only had this item for 2 weeks out of the box. I bought it for my 1 yr olds birthday May 12. It has already stopped working. I am very disappointed that I got a dud. It hasnt been dropped or anything. Just doesn't turn back on. She doesn't understand why its not making the music when she pushes the button. Other reviewers have said it- its LOUD. Like, really loud. It has a fan that pushes the balls up and out of the trunk, and the music is loud to try to cover up that sound. What you are left with is a fan that’s still loud, and music that’s almost aggressively loud. The balls don’t have as much oomph as I would have thought, but that’s because they can pop up and fall back down to pop again. They don’t always pop all the way though- sometimes they equalize and hover just above the trunk opening.As the title says, my son seems to enjoy it.
