It’s beautifully made - it feels very soft to the touch and it has a small noisemaker inside when rolling it.Two things to note:1) Size: it was smaller than I had expected (I didn’t look for measurements though, but did later find them in the Q/A.) The size isn’t an issue though, I think it will be the perfect size for small baby hands when my sons are ready for this!2) Serial number: I thought the serial number could have been printed a little more inconspicuously - you’ll notice in the video that it’s printed largely on the blue panel. Just a small detail that kind of annoyed me. :)All in all - I would really recommend this toy! I bought as an early Christmas present for babies on the way. I will update this review if there are any wear issues once they’re able to start using it, but it feels so high quality I doubt that will be an issue! Read more

This thing is tiiiiiny. I initially got it because I was seeing ads for the Lovevery roller that looks similar to this - except that one is giant and this one is like, two inches tall. Still, it's a good size for my baby and he can pick it up and shake it to hear the ball rattle inside. The ball also isn't super annoying to hear, since it's wood on wood - some of his other rattles are way more grating and loud! This toy doesn’t look like much, but it’s beautiful when it rolls, how the rainbow whirls. For my one year old, it was LOVE at first sight. I was seriously surprised and kept putting off purchasing it and was pleasantly surprised that baby loves it! I thought he wouldn’t be able to pick it up without using two hands, but he knew right away to pick it up with one hand by the natural colored lip on the end. Read more

LOVE this toy and so does my 7 m/o daughter! I went through all her toys once I realized a gift she received by Fisher Price wasn’t BPA free. I did more research on other potential chemicals and toxins in baby toys and threw everything she had out to start fresh with only “safe” toys. So glad I found this company! It’s great to know it’s non-toxic and safe for my baby, especially at an age where she puts everything in her mouth! It is on the smaller side but it’s the perfect size for her to hold it. This is a wonderful toy for my 7 month old. We introduced it when she was 6 months old and shortly after she started crawling. Great toy to encourage movement, it’s visually stimulating, and it’s good quality. The toy is about the size of my palm, so it’s perfect for my daughter to grasp in her hands. Read more

My 6 month old enjoys this toy and it’s great that she can grasp it easily in between her hands which teaches her a different way of grasping. She’s not very interested in it when it rolls and I think that may be due to its size. My son is 7 months old and liked this toy immediately. As others have commented, the toy is small. For me, this is a plus. It's the perfect size for small hands to handle. It's also very light, unlike other wood toys he has, which makes it easy to maneuver. My son loves to leap and catch the toy from a sitting position, when the toy rolls away from him. I even got him to ( sort of) roll the toy back and forth with me. I'm giving it four stars because my toy came with a slightly uneven paint job. It's more of a wash than solid colors. I don't mind it; I'm just unsure whether that's how it's supposed to be or whether it's a defect. Anyway, not something worth returning the toy for. Read more

Yes, I wish this toy was bigger, especially for the cost... However under "product details" it clearly states the product dimensions (and maybe that's the packaged size, but you still know what you are getting before you purchase it).My daughter is 5 months old, she's just starting to figure out crawling. Rolling toys are helpful incentives to get babies to crawl (i.e. roll the toy, which keeps their focus and encourages them to try to get it). The wooden ball inside makes noise while the toy rolls, which helps to keep the child's focus (if the room is quiet).My daughter has dropped this and tries to suck on the edge of it. It hasn't come apart for us. I never leave her unattended with it (on account of the negative reviews). It is made of sustainable wood with safe paint and NOT made in China. I think it is worth the cost. I will buy more PlanToys. This should be durable enough to be around for more than just the first child. Read more

Ha llegado hoy y lo primero que he hecho ha sido olerlo porque a veces los juguetes de madera huelen a barniz. Le pasé un paño húmedo para comprobar que no desteñía y pasó la prueba. La bolita es de madera y no hace un ruido molesto. Se lo presenté a mi bebé que cumple 6 meses en unos días y comenzó a rechupetearlo al ver tantos colores. En cuanto se le escapa, como no sabe aún gatear, se arrastra como puede para intentar alcanzarlo, por lo que es bueno para estimularlo y que ejercite sus músculos. Edit: now that I’ve had it a while, I’m actually really starting to appreciate that this toy is smaller. My 8 month old loves chasing it around the room as it rolls and it’s small enough he can pick it up. It’s not what I had in mind when I ordered it and I do wish they’d been a bit clearer about the size but I’m very pleasantly surprised.
