Broke in first 2 minutes of play, after returning and getting s replacement that one broke in a few days. I made sure to tell my son that her legs could not bend like cat boy and geico (which came with the plane I purchased and are a lot more durable, though geico’s face pops out). We bought owelet because she was not included with the plane but apparently she should never have her legs bent even if your child wants to sit her on the plane or owl glider. They just snap right off, no idea why but it’s not a defective versus a functional item, I believe they might all be defective; in the sense that they have bendable legs so they can fit in all the different accessories, however when you try to play with the other accessories the legs snap off causing a massive choking hazard and causing chaos (because 3 year olds do not understand the concept of broken without possibility of being fixed). Unfortunately my son is slightly OCD and needs all three action figures in order to initiate play or else he spends the whole time looking for owlete or complaining about not having an owlete so another exchange and maybe this time he’ll understand not to bend her legs. My toddler is OBSESSED with this show so I got her this as a surprise. Unfortunately, its design makes it very difficult for small kids to fit owlette on the bike (you have to carefully put one hand at a time on the handlebars and it sometimes takes a few tries). This resulted in a very frustrated toddler bringing it to us several times a minute because as soon as she moved the bike, owlette’s hands lost their place and the figurine would go tumbling. We eventually hid it in the closet because it was so frustrating for everyone. It’s getting donated at the next pick up. Maybe there is a teenager who likes toddler toys and will keep it for display instead of actually playing with it. Read more
This is one of the only things my daughter wanted for Christmas. The little piece of owlettes hips broke off the night she got it. I was able to glue it back on and the legs still bend but not sure how long it will stay “fixed”. The toy also doesn’t really fit/stand on the vehicle that it came with. And now with the hips/legs partly broken I don’t want to force it on the vehicle. The toy seems sturdy but is cheap Read more
This toy can be a good toy, but it is not ready to be played with immediately. Straight out of the packaging the hips in these toys are VERY tight. You will need to spend a minute or two flexing the legs front and back to loosen them up, and then slowly flexing them outwards for them to fit on the moon rovers. If your kid is a big fan of Season 2 Episode 9 where they go to the moon, these toys can be great. But you will need to do a little prep work on the toys because they are a bit on the cheap side. Read more
Add me to the list who had legs break off within 2 minutes of my daughter opening box. She was gutted. All she did was put her on lunar rider. I travel to China a lot for work and this thing has less quality then knockoffs that cost a buck. Seriously avoid this whole line of space themed Pj Mask toys. Read more
This is sold out everywhere so I was so happy to find it. The second day my son was playing with it Owlette's pelvis broke when he was trying to put her on the moon rover. These toys just aren't the quality they used to be and I'm really disappointed. Read more
It’s a cute toy but my granddaughter that is 3 came to me over and over to put the darn thing on the little cycle. She’s a second child and loves to play alone and usually never needs help with toys. The character has big shoes and stiff arms so getting it positioned to ride the cycle isn’t easy for an adult.I’d say she plays only with the red character and has forgotten about the cycle. Like Barbies, kids really just play act rather than use tiny shoes, purses etc. Read more
Bought for my 2½ year old. She has played with it in the bath, the sandpit, on her slide and bounces him around most days on her Duplo houses etc...No issues with it breaking because she is careful and has respect for her toys. Even at only 2½, she understands if you are overly rough with something, it will break and go in the bin.I guess some kids are just allowed do as they please while the parents drink wine and cheap gin. Not the greatest design of toy as the hands don't seem to want to stay on the handles which frustrates my son to no end! A robust toy though. Read more
Catboy’s ‘pelvis’ snapped and his legs fell off within half an hour of fairly careful playing!!I had also bought the Owlette version (to go with the SpaceRocket HQ)...same thing happened to her! Legless and broken within a day.Didn’t even make it to Boxing Day.One very disappointed 4 year old...and his mummy! Read more
