First of all, I got the 20g bottle to try out, and also to make sure I used it up while the SPF was still guaranteed. Look at the product size - Japanese sunblocks tend to be smaller than Western drugstore brands, so keep it in mind.That said:I enjoy this sunscreen for the purpose I got it from, namely to put on my face when I work out outside. It DOES leave a white (pinkish?) cast, and it IS drying, like all physical sunscreens with this level of protection are. It also pilled up a bit weirdly when I wore it with my usual (rather emollient) moisturiser. That's why I do NOT wear this as my everyday SPF.I like that it does not irritate my eyes, and that I can therefore wear it around my cheekbones/eye area to boost protection on days I need it (I have some freckles there, so I know I need it). It is very, very milky so getting 1/4th of a teaspoon on your face is a breeze, especially if you do your face in sections (which you will need because of how liquid and fast-drying the product is).So is this the most cosmetically elegant sunscreen out there? No. Does it do what it says on the bottle ie protect you from the sun and stay put in spite of sebum and sweat? You bet. Read more
