I used another popular brand's nail clippers with attached magnifying glass on my infant son and punched him, leaving him with a small red blister that didn't seem to bother him at all, and me with a phobia of trimming his nails. After slowly filing for a few weeks and putting him in mittens far longer than the avg mom does, a friend told me about these nail scissors. Yes, it's weird and not exactly comforting that the packaging is all in Chinese. BUT, these scissors are great. I trim my baby's nails now without trouble. They are blunt and thin and it's easy to snip several tiny bits off of each nail. Don't try to snip trim the entire length off at once, just do several little snips per nail.I ordered the 0-3 month size for my 2 month old and they were teeny tiny. Returned them for the 3+ month size and they were fine. I would even start with the 3+ size for a newborn. Read more

These suck. Get the newborn ones by Pigeon (same manufacturer). The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I love the Pigeon newborn scissors. They're the best for cutting baby nails. Now I know they're the best for cutting toddler nails as well. They broke when she was 2.5 years old, which I think is reasonable, considering the regular use, and I got this 3 months and up version, only to realize that the newborn ones are far superior. I love these scissors! I started out with the newborn scissors and finally bought these when I often misplaced them and when my baby got older. These were an absolute lifesaver. I started out with the baby nail clippers.. but found these to be soooo much easier to use. Also not all baby scissors are the same quality. I bought another brand to save a few bucks, but returned it bc this brands quality was so much better. I recommend this to ANY new parents! def one of my MUST HAVES. Read more

I prefer these nail scissors over others I've tried. The handle is for left or right handed people, the scissors are sharp (sharper than other brands, so watch out!), and they cut more precisely than clippers. These don't feel cheaply made, and the nails take just a little longer to grow than they do when clipped with clippers (likely due to the precision scissors offer over clippers). So, 5 stars (and they arrived much faster than they were supposed to arrive!). I love this brand a lot. I grew up with my mom using it. I bought this because my son has razor sharp nails that can slice anything and anyone! I didn’t really want to use nail clippers, so I choose this. I feel that I have much more control and can carefully cut his nails. It’s comfortable in my hands and it’s so tiny and cute. Read more

I really like these scissors because they get a pretty close cut and I don't have to worry about chopping off my baby's fingers with clippers. However, it doesn't get close enough to go long without clipping. I literally clipped them one night and then the nanny asked if she could clip them the next day! Ha, they clearly weren't short enough for her! Read more

Being a first time mom, cutting my twin babies’ nails was very intimidating. This baby nail scissors looks intimidating as well, but I ordered them because a friend recommended it to me. To my surprise, these nail scissors are very easy to use and I didn’t accidentally cut my babies’ skin! I highly recommend these to any parents that are intimidated to cut their baby’s nails. You will not regret this purchase. Read more
