I like this makeup and usually use the rimmel translucent powder for about $3 but this stuff really is softer and looks way better. I know it says this is to help set your makeup or make your skin tone more even for make up but you really don't need heavy make up with this. I’ve been using this makeup for over 5 years, and I hope they never stop making it! I don’t use foundation or anything, because I prefer a more natural look; I just apply the powder directly to my skin and it works miracles, evening out my tone, and hiding minor blemishes.I'm one of those self-conscious women who never lets people take photos of me without makeup, but I'm going out on a limb here because you really have to see the before and after photos to get a sense of how amazing this product really is. I have used Creamy Natural Physicians Formula powder since my mid 20s with no other cover up... just this and a light blush over it with a little blending brush to give a flawless complexion every time in less than 2 minutes. Best thing is the palette allows me to choose how light or dark I want to get in certain spots just by pulling powder from a certain part of the palette, For someone like me with blotchy skin (lots of acne as a teen) that alone is worth the price of admission! I am a your normal 38 year old woman with skin that is red and sensitive. It is combination and highly textured with fine lines and large pores. I use serums to help with the underlying issues, but in the meantime, I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find a foundation that helps blur my textured skin and pores. All of the liquid foundations, CC and BB creams, stippling brushes, beauty blenders, EVERYTHING, has always left me with my makeup sinking into my pores and lines, making me look like I have little peach freckles all over my face.However when I used this pressed powder ALONE with a microfiber application sponge, it not only calmed my redness but gave me a nice smooth finish without sinking into my pores. Plus it blends so well with my skin tone because it has a combination of tones that really do work well together to match your skin.It is not meant for full coverage, so if you are trying to hide blemishes or whatever, I would recommend using a base foundation. Physicians Formula is one of my favorite make up brands and this Powder is no exception.I use a light Physicians formula BB Cream to even out my skin first and finish with this powder to set everything. It keeps my skin feeling soft to the touch and stays on all day. It evens out light red spots and such without looking heavy or dry and gives a nice matte finish that lasts. This has been my preferred face powder for years and years. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts, and when I switched to this powder I saw an improvement in my skin.
