I've been using Sonicare toothbrushes for a long time--in the neighborhood of fifteen years. I've been through multiple units, have tried all of the heads, etc. In my opinion, Philips quality control on these products has steadily declined. In the case of these brush heads, I am finding several that have the odd bristle that has been improperly manufactured and stick out at an odd angle. You might not think that a single stray bristle is much, but you can feel it in your mouth. It's easy enough to fix with scissors, but given the ridiculous price of an OEM Sonicare head (multiplied by four family members), I think the quality bar should be much higher.I will also add that this six-pack of heads came encased in quite possibly one of the most absurd examples of packaging I have ever seen. The small, plastic case of six heads is embedded in a massive piece of cardboard that can literally be measured in square feet. Wasteful, shameful packaging that must also cost a mint to ship. Nothing wrong with the brush heads. The bad mark is for the packaging, which is obscenely wasteful and inconvenient to boot -- just about the worst case of overpackaging I've ever seen. The plastic clamshell (which is at least reclosable -- positive marks there) comes attached to a heavy cardboard card that is 12 × 13" (30 × 32 cm). I'm not making this up! The great big card also has a multiplier effect in terms of wasted resources, as Amazon has to use a great big box to ship the thing (and Philips in turn had to use a great big box to ship cases of the things to Amazon), which increases transportation fuel costs and generates yet more wasted materials. Shame on you, Philips! And, just to add insult to injury, the card is marked with a "cut here" line that, when cut, does absolutely nothing to help you extract the clamshell. Furthermore, the clamshell has a deep projecting square on the back whose nominal purpose seems to be to secure the clamshell in the cardboard but whose real purpose is to make sure the thing fits in your drawer as poorly as possible. I had previously purchased one of these 6 packs in the past. Each brush has a symbol on it and in my previous purchase, there were three symbols, two brushes with each. This was perfect as there are three of us. When I purchased this product, I looked at the pictures and zoomed it to see three symbols. When my package arrived, I was quite disappointed that I had two different symbols, three brushes with each. The product I am very pleases with in all other respects, but I was mis-lead by the picture which is the reason for only three stars. I have attached two pictures. The packaged one shows that I was send only two different symbols. The other shows three symbols and was a screen capture from one of the pictures I checked on the product page before I ordered. This is not genuine Phillips product! It’s July and we’ve had to order new brush heads because we’ve already gone through 7! (The 6 in this package and one I had in my suitcase). All but 2 of them “went bad” meaning they started not connecting to the toothbrush well after a few weeks and the blue line marking the time to change it hadn’t even worn down to the bottom yet. I have bought replacement heads before and the packaging seemed to be like the one I got before but what I received is not what is displayed. I also wanted to make sure the ones I was ordering had the symbols in order to tell apart mine from my boyfriends but they are all the same. I don’t know why the bottom has this copper or tag on it, which makes it look like the toothbrush was manufactured and left incomplete. Have come to the conclusion these were most likely are defective and/or knockoffs. Harder feel and different look than any of my previous Diamond Clean brush heads. Used a couple out of the large pack I paid too much for, then discarded the rest. Wasn't worth the damage and pain to my teeth and gums. I went back to buying at the store so I can see what I am getting and am more likely to get genuine Philips. Read more

Although it looks just like the DiamondClean, it's not the same. I see reviews saying these are authentic and it maybe but to me they just don't work the same as the ones I buy directly from SC (2 pack). For one, the ones I buy directly actually says "DiamondClean" on the brush head and these just say "Philips Sonicare". It does fit on my DC toothbrush but makes a loud noise while I'm cleaning that's so annoying - it sounds like it's not fitted tightly but it is. The bristles also do not feel the same as the originals - it feels softer. Some may like that but I don't. I won't be buying these again. I get mine at Bed Bath & Beyond and even though it costs more, there's a reason and worth paying more. Read more

Warning, the image shown on the website is NOT what you will receive. The packaging is completely different, and it's not the product shown in the picture. The UPC numbers don't even match. You will receive brush heads with a "W" on the handle next to the Wi-Fi symbol - and all six are identical, there's no way to tell any apart. I specifically wanted the brush heads shown with the circle, square or triangle on the handles (as the picture on the website shows) so I can differentiate my brush from my husband's. Now I'll get some nail polish or a Sharpie to mark them - or I'll just pitch 'em and stop shopping the frustration of Amazon. (this is not the first time this has happened) Read more

It's a good product and the 6-pack will last for more than a year. I usually need to change the head once every three to four months. Have been using them for the past three years and quite happy with them. The price here, however, is more expensive than some other retailers. Read more

Sonicare really works as I can attest from my dental cleaning experiences and these replacements seem to be as reasonable as any - though they are expensive since you'll spend more than fifty dollars a year for one person if you follow Philips recomendations. Still they're a lot cheaper and less unpleasant than avoidable dentistry. Read more
