I’m going to start this review by telling you that I have been using Sonicare toothbrushes for a decade. They are a fantastic product. This is a Sonicare toothbrush in name only. It clearly was created to compete with the Quip toothbrush and they are both in fact equally disappointing.Issue here is that the handle vibrates but very little of that force is transmitted to the brush head. A real Sonicare toothbrush is essentially the opposite. The handle doesn’t vibrate much but the brush head “Sonicates” the hell out of your teeth. It’s vibrating bliss for your teeth and gums.If you are buying this toothbrush for home use, spend a little more money and get a real Sonicare toothbrush. If you are buying this for travel purposes, either pack your real sonicare toothbrush which will take up a little more space or just buy a manual toothbrush. It feels pretty ineffective compared to my Sonicare Diamond Clean home unit. The vibration in the handle doesn’t translate well to the brushhead, thus little to no cleaning effectiveness. Appears well constructed though: brush head and AAA battery are easily replaceable. I guess I’ll stick with a conventional brush for travel. Read more

First let me start off by saying I’ve had Sonicare toothbrushes my entire adult life and they are outstanding. I’ve had all different models. From the least expensive to the most expensive. Ever since I started using them I’ve never had one cavity. I take care of my teeth like no other and get constant compliments. Having said that this product is NOT Sonicare standard quality. It’s not powerful enough to have any impact. It’s no better than a manual toothbrush. It’s Quip level aka a joke and a gimmick. I guess Sonicare needs to compete on price with the Quips of the world but don’t buy this. The best money you can spend is on a real Sonicare. Even the entry levels are fantastic. Shame on Sonicare for putting their name on this but doesn’t mean I still don’t think Sonicare is the best, just don’t buy this one. Read more

I was interested in this brush for travel size convenience compared to the bulkier case provided for the original Sonicare brush. This product is like a regular toothbrush with slight vibrations. I much rather carry the larger Sonicare to experience the quality it provides.The size and design are fantastic - too bas the product itself is not. Read more

The media could not be loaded.  From a dental hygienist perspective, this brush is just “okay”. It is better than a manual toothbrush but there is no comparison to the other sonicare electric toothbrushes. I wouldn’t even go as far as to say this brush has sonic vibration technology - it more so “hums”. I love how slim the brush is but if it’s not functional, what’s the point? Read more

I wanted to give it a 5. But there are two design faults.1) The screw in cap at the bottom that disconnects battery power is very imprecise. It could easily haven been designed to insert in only one way that aligns with the on-off functions.2) The brush case closure is obviously weak, and I expect it will begin to tear away from the overall structure.I bought the brush mostly with an eye to travel, and I think it will work very well. But we will see if the odd design snafus limits it’s life span. Read more

As someone who is always told they brush too hard, I think this will help! The brush is nice and soft (ultra soft toothbrushes are getting harder to find), and you can let the brush do more of the work itself. The brush times itself, so you can brush in quadrants and know every spot is getting the same attention. I’m very happy with this purchase. Read more

I used the Oral B for many years. This is a nice change. It is light. It is colourful. I love that the battery will last 3 months. I can use that to change the brush head as well. Read more
