My niece received some of these For her daughter from NICU when she was born. These are her very favorite and at nine months while she is teething, has not started cutting teeth yet so she can still use them. She prefers the softness versus the regular of the same brand at this time. Love the cut out part around “nipple” to allow fit for smaller faces. What’s also nice is ability to stick a finger in the pacifier, to help gently hold in place, which allows the baby (once older) or person holding them to do so.For some reason, 🤔Pacifiers always seem to bounce as far as they can under a crib, dresser, coffee table, sofa etc. 😁 when they are dropped or baby throws them...Sometimes seem to disappear there! 🤔 Always good to have a spare pack when suddenly you are down to one! I wasn’t able to find in a few stores so I was glad to find them quickly online.Once she cuts teeth she’ll have to transition to the more sturdy ones... 😁 Also Note-because these are more flexible -important to be careful older babies don’t push the whole thing into their mouth... I tried the Chicco Physioforma pacifiers which do have small flat shaped nipples but are heavy & large around the mouth for my newborn, tried MAM pacifier which is lighter but nipple still too large for my 5lb baby girl. I had been searching for the right one and came across this one and the Evenflo Balance + cylindrical infant pacifier. Ordered both. They both are more lightweight than the others, soft nipples, and both are cylinder shaped BUT between those two my baby prefers the NICU soothie, it is less bulky around her tiny mouth. She lasts longer sucking on the soothie than any of the other pacifiers. I also read that cylindrical shaped pacifiers are better recommended especially for breastfed babies rather than the flat shaped nipples on other pacifiers. The NICU soothie is also lighter and a tad bit smaller than the regular round soothies. Only thing I dislike is the position of the holes for the pacifier clips but that’s an easy fix with a hole puncher. I would also have liked to see the NICU soothies in 2 packs. Read more

I ordered this product with the assumption it was the one in the picture. I received the soothie that is UNnotched. The packaging it came in even says notched. It’s the only pacifier my baby is attached to. This is NOT the product I ordered. Will be returning. Extremely disappointed as I waited multiple days after ordering and excited to receive an extra one only for it to be not the product advertised. Read more

I looked everywhere to find a pacifier my baby would take. After trying many many brands, someone recommended I find the ones like they give in the hospital (I didn't get one from the hospital so I didn't know what ot look for at first). These are perfect. I almost bought the same version but without the notch. I'm glad I made sure to get the notched version so I don't have to worry about the shield hitting her nose. Sometimes when she's sucking vigorously it will get turned in her mouth and the shield starts to hit her nose and falls out, but most of the time it does the job well. Read more

I have been looking for this one. Hard to buy just a single one. This is a true NICU pacifier. I'm glad I found it. Can't wait to use it on my preemie silicone reborn doll. Read more

My son was in the NICU for about a week and would ONLY take these pacis. We were able to bring a couple home, but needed to have extras in case we lost those. They don’t sell these at the stores, but thankfully we found them here! My son is 5 months and he still only takes these pacis. Read more
