The product I received is NOT Philips Avent soothie pacifiers! It is a similar pacifier made by “Children’s Medical Ventures,” as advertised on the pacifier, and packaged in Philips Avent packaging. Although the two products are very similar, I am upset that they are falsely advertised and packaged. The falsely advertised pacifier does not feel as thick and sturdy as the Philips Avent ones. Definitely not satisfied with the product. I bought this product before when it was 2 in a pack and I loved it. My son loved it and has been using it since birth. He is now 8 months old and sometimes 1 pacifier gets lost so it a hassle to look everywhere. I decided since I loved the product so much I would reorder it but the 2 per pack is sold out and there was only 4 per pack left. That’s fine. So I got it and when using it my son’s gassiness increased so much he has a big belly. Just today I found out the new pacifiers that I bought has a tiny hole in the middle. So basically he’s sucking air. Won’t recommend the product and won’t ever use it again. I guess it’s just back using the 2 pacifier. Read more

Literally the only pacifier our son will take - we had bought a few different kinds to try out before he was born, and then while in the hospital post-delivery they gave him one of these while doing an exam and literally since he tried it he just spits out any other one besides this one. They're well made, easy to clean, affordable, and are really nice to have as an "extra" when holding/bouncing/swaddling/etc. aren't enough to calm him down, being able to suck on these is really soothing for him at times. My little brother and sister loved these as babies. Now that I’ve got a kid of my own, she adores them as well. They’re by far her favorite.One issue. I know Phillips probably has some safety reason for it, but not having a loop for a pacifier band is the only thing that makes it not perfect. Not I have seen that people have use a leather punch to put a hole in the little ring but sticking off of it so when she gets to that age, I’ll probably do that. Read more

I bought the Phillips Avent Soothie pacifiers for the 4 month old whom I babysit. He is quite the pacifier snob, but loves these. The quality is good and the design is perfect. He is actually able to hold onto these by himself so he can chew on the sides when he doesn't have the nipple stuck into his mouth. This will definitely be a repeat purchase. Read more
