This is a review for the Permotary Gel Beads Hot Cold Face Ice Pack.I have an autoimmune disease that causes me to have low-grade fevers. I also have migraines, so I have bought and tried out many similar gel type cooling/heating masks and caps.I have mixed feelings about this one. On the plus side, the mask cools down very quickly in the refrigerator and really does get quite cold. Because one side is flannel, you can place it on your face without worry about it being too cold or too hot for your skin. This is a big plus.I only use this as a cold compress and it does feel soothing and it does stay cool for around 15 minutes and you can apply pressure to the gel beads to adjust them and move them a bit around. That’s nice.The biggest problem for me was that I could not wear the mask comfortably with the straps - they are velcro and you can adjust them but they feel a bit tight and/or they don’t stay in place. So I have mainly used this by laying down and putting it on top of my face.Still, it does help bring my fevers down quickly and I can get it cold again quickly by putting it back in the refrigerator. Like a lot of people, I am under a lot of tension and also get headaches. This mask gets cold very quickly and provided a good amount of relief as I held it against my face.
