I sent a lot of shells to HAWAII to make different type of shell Items and my family told me that all the abalone shells was smaller than what they say and it is THIN and VERY BRITTEL DONT BUY IT. IT was so small that my cousin threw the shells in the TRASH!!!!!! IT was not worth TAKING A PICTURE!!!!!! Read more

I ordered the 2PC Natural Green Abalone Sea Shells, "3 inch-4inch" once before from pepperlonely and the shells where fine. I just ordered some more last week and got them today, WOW just horrible. They are advertised as "3 inch-4 inch". One was about 2 1/2inch and the other was 2 3/4 inch. And these can not be used for catching ash, just way to small. A waste of money at $12.99. Will never buy from Pepperlonely again and I Do Not recommend them. Read more

I also thought these were thicker shells, but they are extreemly thin almost translucent. I have a ton of shells, have collected shells for over 50 years (grew up on an island too). This was my first time ever ordering any online. Guess I learned better now. These looked so perfect for a project I had too, it's too bad they will not work for anything I put together with shells. These are great! Every shell was in good condition, and a variety of sizes were included in the package. They have great colors on the inside. I would buy these again! I am surprised at how nice they- I thought there would be some that were beat up or imperfect, but all 25 are great! Read more

I don't know what the complainers want. This is a natural product with natural variations on color and size. Some have a fuller color than others, some are smaller than ordered, and many are larger then ordered. Remember what you would expect to see if you found them on the beach. Read more

I’m so sorry I did not read the reviews prior to purchase. These shells are authentic but they are very very small, in fact most are less than 2 inches. Some came chipped too. I’m very disappointed with this buy, I can’t recommend at all. 👎🏽 Read more
