Works well for thin / fine hair. Not too heavy. If you have fine hair then you know how those thick conditioners that leave a residue builds up and after a while your hair isn’t as full. And when you have fine hair, you don’t want that!What works best for my hair care routine is to always have 2-3 shampoos and 2-3 conditioners I’m my shower at all times to rotate. About 2 times a month I use a clarifying shampoo by Neutrogena which removes all the build up residues from all your hair products. It can dry out your hair, so just use once every 2-3 weeks. Also, for longer hair if you can wear your hair up in a towel till almost dry, then you can finish off with a quick blow dry if desired. My hair is always fuller from that method. Kinda like the same effect of adding hair spray to your roots for a lift, but without the extra product.And... my new go to is gummy candy. Love the stuff, and found when I eat a bag a week or so, my hair definitely grows faster then when I don’t eat them for months. I know, I’m forced to eat candy for my vanity. Such a bummer!Basically it’s the gelatin. Hair products with it don’t work the same as eating it. First off, I love, love, love, this!! The product arrived safely with no spills, I’ve been using this product for over a year now, but have never purchased on Amazon, one bottle usually lasts myself and my boyfriend about 6m, however I don’t shampoo everyday, usually when my scalp gets greasy/dirty since my hair is already very dry. One thing I have to say is this shampoo has really changed the way my hair has been over the course of using it, I don’t have too thin or thick of hair. I do have very dry hair. The moisture boost line has helped me maintain my platinum blonde greatly. I do wish they would come out with a hydrating purple(violet) line! This felt like a thick, gooey paste. Didn't feel like a shampoo at all. Also didn't lather whatsoever. Almost more like a cowash but even my cowash feels way better so need to add another "cowash" to my rotation. Unfortunately I now have two huge bottles is basic gunk.
