This product has been my ESSENTIAL GO TO. I’ve been using palmers for 3-4 years now. Due to the pandemic I had to order this from amazon and I’m happy to say it’s the same product.I have dyed hair-damaged hair.. so when I get out the shower my conditioner isn’t soft enough. I use this on my 4 year olds hair and have for the last 2 years... has a great smell, makes her hair very easy to brush, doesnt make it look dirty after use, and the best part is lice hate the smell of coconut oil so i spray some in every morning when im fixing her hair and it helps with brushing it then when i send her to school it keeps the cooties away!!!! It’s a very good leave-in conditioner. It’s a great value and even if you have very long hair, one bottle goes a long way.I like that it’s a non-aerosol spray.. This allows you to apply more evenly than cream leave-in conditioners, which is basically lotion for hair. The bottle is a very generous size and it conditions better than most other spray leave-in conditioners do.Take care to only apply to/near the ends. Use only on wet hair, not dried and don’t go too overboard spraying, or else the coconut oil will cause your freshly shampooed/conditioned hair to look like it’s greasy.My only complaint is about the scent. There’s little or no artificial fragrances added, which is great… but compared to other coconut oil-based bath and body products, this conditioner did not smell like coconuts or piña colada at all. In fact, it smelled a lot more like the liquid artificial popcorn butter they use in movie theater concession stands.It is worth noting though, that (unless you have short hair, &/or you go too overboard applying it) that this odd odor probably won’t be an issue. It does seem to dissipate as hair dries and it’s not even perceptible once hair is completely dry.Also, in my opinion, if you have long-very long hair that’s dry, brittle or prone to tangling, you’ll probably want to use it in addition to (not instead of) your regular rinse-out conditioner. When I bought this product, I planned to use it as more of a way to lend “extra help” in addition to my usual conditioner, not as a replacement for it. Because the product is liquid formula, not a cream and it’s sprayed onto wet hair (vs applied directly to wet hair, and worked into hair before rinsing out) there’s a limit to the evenness of coverage you can reasonably hope to expect.Combing it through wet hair after applying does help redistribute it some (as it also helps to detangle) but in my opinion, if used alone, this product would not offer you the same amount of conditioning power as you would get by using it *in addition* to your regular rinse-out conditioner. I have chosen to have this automatically sent to me on a monthly basis. I have had issues with my hair with being so dry that it feels like hay, even started growing in brittle. I have tried hair masks, hair oils and deep conditioning a t the salon and these things only worked for 2 days. My hair started thinning with a sudden low growth rate. So far this works like a charm on my thick hair. I am still going to give this product 5 stars because it manages to detangle my mane, but if I wanted to be a stickler, I’d deduct a star due to the fact that it leaves my hair feeling dry. Works well to detangle hair, and leaves it with a light, pretty scent of coconut (no worries, you don't smell like suntan lotion, which was my concern prior to trying this product for the first time!). I just love the ease of being able to spray on a leave-in conditioner, and then immediately comb through my almost waist-length hair. I am extremely happy with this purchase. It's reasonably priced, smells amazing like the islands, feels light in my hair and seems to do a nice job moisturizing. I have naturally curly hair and it doesn't leave my curls looking frizzy, heavy or "wet" once dry. My hair feels soft and my curls are bouncy. My main reason for buying a leave in conditioner is because I am using kind of a harsh shampoo for thinning hair. That product left my hair feeling dry, knotted up and breaking. This leave in conditioner has helped to heal a lot of that and doesn't seem to interact with or effect the first product. I will definitely buy the Palmer's leave in spray conditioner again! Such a shame! This gave me lovely beach curls and smelled divine. But they ruin it with the use of some high rated toxic ingredients according to the EWG data base. Adding it all up its just not worth it especially as you are breathing it in. Lovely product. My hair is like a birds nest after washing & have tried various conditioners & brushes in the past which left me frustrated with the results. This however is brilliant. Just a few sprays goes a very long way - so less is definitely more - & my brushes now glide through my hair when wet. Leaves my hair silky & smooth after blow drying with absolutely no weight, sticky or oily feeling. I have elbow length dyed blonde hair & I have been using this product for well over a year now with perfect results every time. The combination of being unwell, coloured hair and the heat over the Summer had all contributed to my hair feeling like straw. I have used this product twice now and it is amazing. I have hair which is just past my shoulders and was seriously considering getting it cut shorter. Now with this magical product I can keep my long hair. My only frustration is that it is an add on product so I had to wait until I was ready to order something else before I could get it. It was certainly worth the wait though. I have naturally dry hair (it's quite curly when left) made worse by medication and illness. As well as relying on a good hairdresser I am always looking for something to improve its condition.After using this conditioner for a while (from about a month in I think), I noticed my hair seemed less out of control and in much better condition. To my delight when going to the hairdresser, the owner of the salon said how good my hair was looking and said he didn't actually think I needed a trim this time (I was having my roots coloured), which I think is a first. I can definitely see an improvement and family and friends have also commented on it.I don't have a very good sense of smell but my other half says my hair smells nice when I've put it on, but my 8 year old isn't so keen on the smell of coconut. I don't think it's overpowering though or I would probably be able to smell it myself.My hair isn't made greasy from using this product and there isn't the feeling of having product on your hair that you get with some things.I am just really happy to have found something that helps my hair to remain in condition that doesn't break the bank.
