This was such a weird product for me. I thought I would really like it. At first I did, when I first got it I would apply it on my face after a shower & I would feel super moisturized. Also smells really good. But around my 5th time using it I applied it like I normally would & my face started burning. It was so bad I had to go wash it off. And my skin is NOT sensitive. My skin is pretty good with all kind of products & I don’t ever break out. But this moisturizer burned. Even after that time I tried one more time just to see & same thing. Really great moisturizer for those who aren't looking for anything too pricey. It has the usual cocoa butter scent but applies like a dream. Best way to apply is right out of the shower when your skin is still dewy. Wears well under makeup and I don't get greasy during the day. I love the moisturizing consistency, has a nice non-greasy feeling and a nice after affects feeling. Unfortunately I had to return it because the fragrance, though mild, triggered some sensitivities, but still moved to give it four stars because the sensitivity was mild, I’m a fan of Palmer’s, and I use other Palmer products like their cocoa butter formula. I was excited to try this as I love Palmers products. The first time I used it, it made my face burn and it wasn’t pleasant. The smell is amazing, I love it. I’ve had other products burn my face before and usually I toss them. The next day, I decided to try again and it didn’t burn at all. It’s super thick consistency, and the pump dispenses a lot. I have bought Palmers moisturizing day cream before from other online skin care shops - this does not seem the same. Previously it has been thinner than this, not this creamy, absorbed very easily and not had such a strong scent of cocoa butter. I have to be honest, when i pumped this onto my hand and started to use it, i immediately thought of palmers BODY LOTION, which i also use. Have palmers changed this product or has the body lotion been put in a different bottle by accident? Very odd, if i buy this again it will be from my normal online store. Read more
