I really like this lunch bag! It’s much bigger than I expected, especially considering it’s shape. I can fit a full size water bottle and several container items with room to zip. If I could give one critique, it would be the smell. Initially upon receipt, it did have a “chemical” smell like others noted and I immediately sat it outside to air out. We’ve now used it for several weeks and that smell is subsided. Overall, I really like it and it’s easy for my kindergartener to haul to lunch and home. Edit: Still love this bag despite the fact that it finally incurred some damage... the zipper is not dog proof😒Zero complaints. Durable fabric, and I've really overloaded the thing before. Not super insulated but that's ok, I personally just need it to stay cold for an hour drive then it goes in the fridge. I have the black Paisley swirl one and get so many compliments on it. Folds flat for storage. Great lunchbox but doesn't hold a TON of food if you work, let's say, a 10 to 12 hour shift. Food for lunch and a snack and a drink. Probably great for kids. Read more

It's cute, but it doesn't insulate at all. With hot things, it's horrible. Don't even try. You're gonna waste your money. With cold stuff, I had to use 2 ice packs and within 4 hours everything was already lukewarm.I had one bag at first but it was ripped... tore very easily. A second bag was sent as a replacement and it still didn't insulate well.I ended up buying a different insulated lunch tote that actually works a lot better.If you want something that'll do the job... but not really well... then maybe this is right for you. But if you want something that'll do the job great and has a form (not being squished like this bag) then this isn't the product for you, at all. Read more

Very nicely made. Keeps cold items and ice pack cold throughout the school day. Very easy to clean. Washed it with a soapy washcloth & rinsed it in the evening; it was dry by morning. Love that it will fold completely flat; makes it easy to store when not using (unlike typical lunch boxes sold in all the local stores). Fabric did have a strong neoprene smell upon arrival. August 2021 Update:The bag has held up over time. Yes, it went dormant for a stretch in spring 2020 due to pandemic school closures, but it was back to work in the 2020-2021 school year when my daughter’s school had alternate-day in-person learning (my son’s school remained primarily distance learning). Sister asked brother if she could use his lunch bag and he agreed. So this bag has stood the test of time and rough kid use. Both kids are now phasing into eating school lunch daily, so I will likely do what I’ve done with a lot of their stuff that they no longer use: either hand it down to a younger cousin/friend or start using the bag myself as needed. But if they ever need a lunch bag, they can definitely still use this one. Also, since it doesn’t look like a kids’ bag, it won’t be embarrassing to them.Original Review:When my son's battered old lunch bag needed a replacement, he and I went shopping on Amazon for a new one and settled on this. It's perfect for him! Unlike his boxy old lunch bag, the neoprene one can fit more readily into his backpack. It's not larger--but it easily holds a bento box/food containers, boxed drink, and piece of fruit--and can stretch a bit to accommodate shapes and sizes. The camo print is nice and the bag is lightweight. Plus, it wipes up and folds up easily. After a semester of use, it still looks brand new, so I am looking forward to my son using this bag until his appetite requires a bigger one. Read more

I was looking for a lunch container that would stow inside my backpack so didn't want anything large. I didn't want something accidentally leaking out into my backpac. This neoprene sack did the trick. It was a little larger than I had imagined but it fits well in my medium size pack with plenty of room for other stuff. Although it folds flat vertically, when you put something like a sandwich or container in there the bottom flattens out and let's you stack your food easily. It zips shut and the zipper has a nice pull on it. If my backpack is pretty full I fold the handles down and it usually goes right in.Of course it is a soft container so you still have to watch it if you're traveling with crushable foods. I generally some kind of container in the bottom and then put the more easily bruised items on top and that seems to work well. I'm not sure I would recommend this if you were going to carry it by itself all the way to your destination unless your food was all in containers inside or you're very careful with it.The price was right and the quality is great. I got two for my daughter's. They hold their lunch well. It keeps cold and easy to wash in the washing machine. I also write their names on a price of cloth with a sharpie and sew it on the inside. Had one stollen so they must like it as well, it was never returned. If you want to get a lunch tote that will hold your lunch whether child or adult I suggest this one.
