This is a pretty good seat, and my two-year-old doesn’t mind sitting in it. It’s easy to clean at the end of the night by disassembling the entire thing and wiping out. But if you want to do a quick wipe down it is not the best design as food gets stuck inside- all along the arm ridges as it is not joined, covered or connected along the entire arm ridge area. It would’ve been better if the padded seat part would have pulled up and over the top arm rest area as to not leave the crack exposed to the immediate droppings of every bite. You have to take it apart completely to clean it thoroughly.The back is a little short, and my bigger than average two-year-old ends up leaning back to far to reach his back to the back of our actual chair. I worry that he might start choking on his food learning back so far, and have to constantly convince him to sit forward. I am not sure if this is a phase, and he will eventually just sit straight up, or if he is uncomfortable and needs more back support.I think it’s a good chair compared to some others, but I do not love it. Until I find something better, we will continue to use it.Again, it is very easy to assemble, once you fit it to your chair. So taking it on and off is a breeze. Just two push buckles. Holy cow, this chair is RIDICULOUSLY easy to clean! OMG! My daughter's high chair was, to out it simply, the worst. I would get anxious just thinking about cleaning it. The straps would get caked, there were little crevices EVERYWHERE that food and sauce could get trapped in. I would have to sit there with a toothpick cleaning out all the little crevices. And then there was the "washable material" on the seat that, ahem, was bolted to the chair so as not to be removable.... It could take an hour to deep clean the thing. Excuse me while I got cry in the bathroom after that flashback....This makes me want to kick myself for not switching her earlier! Even the toughest mealtime mess is a BREEZE to clean up. Legitimately, we had chicken broccoli bake for dinner, which, of course, got EVERYWHERE. You know how long it took me to clean this chair? Entirely? And I mean, taking the cushion off, cleaning the straps, the works? 5 FRIGGEN MINUTES WITH ONE WIPE! That includes cleaning the table top, too! HALLELUJAH! I am so glad we went with this booster! I read reviews on a lot of other boosters that crumbs would get trapped in crevices and this is not an issue with this seat. The top portion easily locks in and out of place for easy cleaning. It fits snugly on our smallish dining table chair. The lap belt is sufficient for holding in my wiggly 22 month old. It’s seat is sort of rubbery so not totally uncomfortable but not the most cushiony thing either. The back gives my toddler good back support, which I love since our chairs have an iron backing. It’s a bit pricey, but I suppose worth it in the long run!Update: 7 months into owning this booster and I recommend it to everyone! I love how easy it is to clean, how sturdy, and how comfortable it is for my now two year old who enjoys climbing into it and buckling himself in. OMG I am obsessed with how easy to clean this seat is!! I mulled over buying it for a couple weeks because of the price but it was well worth it in my opinion! There’s no holes for food to get trapped, I repeat NONE!! Everything empties onto the chair it’s sitting on for the easiest cleaning of any high chair or booster seat! I worried that the holes that contain the straps would catch food but they don’t because it empties out onto the chair (see photo). The lift out seat is genius! The straps also fit a variety of chair sizes, so I feel very safe switching between our bar stools to our kitchen chairs with this. It’s also fits very well under our counter u like the Fisher Price Seat Saver we have. It also still boosts up my 14 month old enough to eat comfortably at the counter and our table. I can not recommend this enough! It’s going to be my go-to 1 year old birthday present for friends and family. You won’t be disappointed with this seat! Read more

We swore by our inglesina fast chair and tray. That thing was phonomenal. But then, baby got too heavy for some tables (not for the chair)...cue tipping bistro tables and anxious parents. This thing is awesome. I will say it is a little tall, we can't use it at our kitchen table because it has an apron. However it ALWAYs firs under the table at restaurants. The high sides meant we were able to start using this around 1 year old when baby was still experimentijg rocking every which way in this booster. It's sturdy. It's easy to leave in the trunk and tote along and super easy to install. It's comfortable for baby which means she'll sit in it for a while. I also have the fisher price booster with the tray at the grandparents house..although that one feels (and is!) a lot cheaper, and certainly isn't as comfortable, or sturdy/secure it gets the job done and comes with a tray. Although I don't use the tray in restaurants, it sure does come in handy at relatives houses when there may not be room for baby at the table or if we're squished and putting then at the table would mean they could reach things and make a messs...if oxo made a removable tray for this booster, it would be perfect. Honestly, if some cheap fisher price has one, I really don't understand why it wouldn't be an option for this one, especially at this price point. Pleaaasseeee oxo! Read more

I wish we bought this sooner. I baulked at the price and made the mistake of spending less on a booster seat that I ended up giving away. I love that this seat attaches to any chair and lets your child eat with you at any height table. There is no tray so they can pull up right to the table with you. The clean up is breeze. Just wipe it down. If it gets realllly dirty you can wash the entire thing the sink. Absolutely love this high chair seat and recommend it to everyone. Read more

I was very hesitant on buying this because well...the price. I thought it was going to be cheap looking and not comfortable and hard to clean. My son is 22 months and 38 lbs...that was another concern of mine with him not fitting comfortably in it. BUT I have to say this is a must have!!! He absolutely loves it, and it is so comfortable and fits him perfect with some much extra room for him, because we all know kids never stop growing. I highly recommend this for anyone making the transition from the high chair, plus is much better looking then what we would of used from the actually high chair. Read more

My 21 month old son loves this booster seat! He was moved to the big kid table at his dayhome and no longer wanted to sit in his high chair at home. He happily walks over to the table to have his meals in this booster seat! It’s easy to clean/wipe down and the straps are more than long enough for him.
