The glass countainer is everything. We had plastic ones before and they broke after a few month due to wear and tear. We use these frequently to store and re-heat food for our kids. In doing so, it's exposed to extreme heat (Boiling water) and cold (freezer) and they have lasted the test of time. The glass is durable enough to withstand a fall but it is still glass so becareful. Bought these to use for baby food, with the intention of making my own. I didn't want to be constantly heating plastic containers with my son's food in it, so I was looking for a good glass option. These seal really well, and we have had zero issues with leaking, even if things get tossed around in his bag.Dishwasher safe, which is awesome. However, make sure you remove the silicone seal before washing because otherwise things can get stuck up underneath the seal and won't get cleaned out completely.If you plan to use a daycare, make sure that they are okay with glass containers. My son's first day care didn't have any issues with these, but when we moved his new day care doesn't allow glass. These glass containers are ADORABLE. I love using glass storage and it's harder to find them in this small size. However, because the glass is thick, these take up more storage space than similar sized plastic containers. As a consequence, I tend not to use these for my daughter's baby food quite as much, since they don't fit well in her lunchbox and make it much heavier. However, I have been using them for my own lunch/things I want to store in the fridge. So far so good. I’ve been using these for a few months and love them! They are so convenient. I freeze them, microwave them, and take them on the go with no problems. Cleaning them is super easy too, the part where it seals pops out to be washed to prevent mold build up. I read some reviewers complaining that if you press the top it snaps open, I do have this problem occasionally. However, I have found that if you adjust the part that seals the lid and try putting it back on, the problem is no more. I will definitely be buying more! Read more

I bought two of this and it has been good until I found one of the containers got cracked without any impact or pressure to it, and the broken glass piece that came off the container cut my skin. I'm just so lucky that the broken piece wasn't picked up by my baby. It would have been a terrible situation. As far as I know this is made of a durable glass and I don't think a crack like this should have happened.I threw away the broken piece right away because it was just too dangerous to have around. So I don't have the picture of it but I'm attaching my skin cut that I got from the broken piece and the container that I'm returning back to Amazon.I looked at some other reviews and it looks like it's not just me having this kind of problem. Some other customers have also seen a broken/damaged glass. If you're buying this product, inspect all of the glasses carefully when you received them. Also, keep in mind that the glass may get broken/cracked easily like mine while you're using it. You'll have to constantly make sure there's nothing wrong with the glass. You don't want your baby to touch a broken glass.I'm giving it a two star rating instead of one star because I don't have any trouble with the other 7 containers that I'm using. Bought these when my baby started solids. I keep them in the refrigerator fully loaded with homemade purees. I stick them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to heat up the food and voila!
