I use these specifically to lance boils/cysts/blisters/pimples and the like. I spend a lot of time hiking so such things do come up now and a gain, either from abrasions on my feet or from dusty, oily skin. These are very fine, sterile, and easy to hold and control. I noticed minimal pain when using them, and what pain you might feel you can mitigate using a mild anesthetic salve, like Oragel or Aspercreme. These lancets are much cleaner and more effective than other methods, especially squeezing or cutting with a blade, and will leave a much smaller breach in the skin, minimizing healing tie and scarring. If you want, these lancets are compatible with many auto-lancing devices, which means it will jab you right quick without you needing to do it yourself. However, they are fine enough that I haven't found such necessary. I just just disinfect via IPA, jab it, allow the pressure to be relieved and dab up any pus/ichor with some cotton, disinfect again, then bandage if needed. After using one, I usually disinfect, run the tip over a file a couple times, the put the plastic cap back on the lancet and discard it.Would recommend these, or the 33G version (ASIN: B01D1XSFU4) for this purpose. Of course I use lancets to stick into voodoo dolls. The lancets get poorer as time go on as do the lancing devices. The new ones do not work as well as my old ones which I hope to get out of storage soon. Read more

When I spoke with the representative and explIned what lancet device I was using, I was assured that they would fit. These lancets did not. The shape was incorrect. I needed to force the lancet into the device. I am still able to use them, but with difficulty. However, the lancet itself is well made and a quality product. Read more
