*****UPDATE*******sad to say, but the light only stays a little bright for a few seconds then goes completely dim. I find myself having to use my phone flashlight instead.Beautiful mirror, great purchase BUT here are some things to keep in mind if you’re looking to buy:Mirror does not come with AAA batteries (4 needed)DO NOT start drilling holes into your wall until you are 100% sure you are mounting the face plate correctly. My husband and I both spent about an hour trying to figure out how to mount the mirror and made multiple holes in the wall. ( the instructions that came in the box are 3 small pictures.. no help) We finally came across slightly better instructions online and we’re able to mount the mirror. The biggest issue is the fact that the mounting screws attached to the bracket were not long enough to attach the mirror.When you secure the mounting bracket to the wall there are two screws that protrude out so you can affix the mirror. Those screws are too short to physically attach the mirror to the bracket. I was able to use a couple washers as a spacer behind the bracket on each screw I used to attach the bracket to the wall. That way the screws would extend further to allow me to thread the nuts onto the mounting screws to secure it. Pretty simple fix for someone who has a bunch of spare parts lying around. But to the average person it might take a little more time and problem solving to figure it out. Not quite “plug and play”. Read more

The product arrived in used condition but repackaged. Water rings were all around the mirror rim and the inside contained dust, small pieces of hair, and scuff marks that indicate use. The photos were AFTER cleaning it out with a magic eraser... plenty of gunk still in it. I don’t plan to use the battery operated area that lights up the mirror because some of the wiring is corroded. Unhappy with the product, especially for this price. Read more

I almost never buy an item that doesn't have any reviews but I really liked how this one used AAA batteries rather than an ugly cord that I had to string across the wall to the outlet. It looks very high end and solid and installation was easy with the included anchors and screws (although I added two extra anchors and screws because this is pretty heavy for only two screw and it didn't seem solid without them). Has a nice bright light and good magnification. Makes doing my eyebrows so much easier to do. Super easy to install. In the photos is a bottle with ridiculously small writing. You can see how magnified and bright the mirror is. Read more

This whole process has been a nightmare, this mirror after having paying a handyman to install the mirror would flop and not have any tension on the normal side. the magnified side to use you have to be like 2 inches away or its a complete blur......since holes already made had to order mirror from 3rd party, not happy with that one either. This was definitely a used mirror, pkg was taped and beat up, could be the buyer couldn't get the mirror apart to put the batteries in.....HOLES already made in my wall for this mirror so keeping in without being able to install batteries for light.......and UPS has still not picked up the one with the floppy mirror.......I love Amazon, but this purchase has been super frustrating. UPDATE OCT 2017. I have had this for 6 weeks. About 3 weeks after I got it the batteries I purchased died and I finally got around to buying new ones. Well the light still does not come on. Horrible. Hopefully I can track down someone for a warranty claim since I am 2 weeks past the Amazon return window. I can no longer recommend this unit.Great mirror. I got the 8.5" size and I think anything smaller would be too little. The light works well for me as long as I have the room light on too. The 10x magnification is great--you will see every wrinkle. It makes it so easy to put on my makeup. You need to be close so the magnification works, too far back and you see a blur. I had a similar one for years with no light, and was 100% happy. Since my new bathroom is a bit darker I thought the light might be helpful. It seems well made for the price. Install was easy, remove 2 covers from the screws that hold on the back plate. Attach back plate to wall, put up mirror and put the 2 screw covers on. It did come with the stupid useless drywall anchors that never hold up. If you are putting it into drywall only I suggest you get better fasteners.Others said they had a hard time opening the mirror to access the batteries, I did not. It does not include 4 AAA batteries.The one complaint I have is that the manufacture has stamped their name on the right side of the base. I hate this. There name makes the product look worse not better and thus they lost 1 star. I do not want my house filled with advertisements for companies. I prefer to look at "pretty things" not ads.I will update this post if I have problems in the future. Read more
