Was reluctant to purchase this blow dryer due to its low cost. But to my surprise the reviews were very accurate. I work in a fast paced hair salon where my time is valuable. It helps me keep the pace well. It has amazing air flow. Its very powerfull and on high its nice and hot!! This dryer is all that I was hoping for when purchased and has exceeded my expectations. Another love about this dryer is the non slip texture of the blow dryer. Helps keep my hands where they belong. No slipping and sliding wich leads to dropping and breaking. My 5-year-old John Freida 1875-watt hair dryer was going on the blink, so I spent quite a few hours online to find a replacement that had more power. I have very long hair and need to leave for the commute by 6:00 am, so it was super important to choose an appliance that would yield a rapid and silky dry. I seriously considered many prestige brands including Solano, Sedu, and Kadori, but shuddered at their inflated prices.This great little 2200-watt tool dries and styles my massive hair in 8 minutes, compared to 20 with the Freida. I bought this dryer as a gift for my mother as she was always trying to steal mine when she would visit or we would travel together! I have had mine for going on 6 years and it has seen its fair share of bangs, drops and traveling with no problems. I have very thick and long hair that takes me 45 minutes to blow out with regular dryers and this cuts my drying time down to about 15 minutes. All of my friends that use it ask where I got it and since I had purchased mine from a beauty supply I could not find it anymore and decided to just look here for it one day and there it was! Warning, the good reviews are probably fake, by the time I was able to try this hair dryer it was too late to return it, it doesn't work well. I'm a hair stylist and bought this primarily for my clients. It works well, I had it for about 7-8 months before the plug mysteriously cracked and it would no longer turn on anymore. I tried to ride it out at least a year before purchasing another dryer, so I tied a hair tie around the base as this seemed to keep the plug together enough to turn on lol. I rode that out until I absolutely couldn't anymore and had to purchase another. It's a good purchase for the price, considering other dryers around the same price. Read more

I returned the Rusk tourmaline 2000 watt because it was so heavy, this one is almost as heavy but it's design made it easy to grip n hold while drying your hair. It's a strong hot or warm blast of air which will definitely speed up drying time. The switches don't get in your way while you are using it. Also the blow dryer has a hook loop attached for ez hanging. Which the Rusk didn't. The Pros: fast, 2 temperatures of hot or warm and a cold shot. Ez grip plastic ( not slippery) and a ez hanging hook built in.cons: cheap looking n feeling. Intake air can suck in your hair or anything remotely close to it. It has grabbed a hanging towel nearby while in use. Doesn't leave hair soft and shiny like the Rusk did.I wish they had a Tourmaline ceramic Rusk that was designed with ez grip rubber, switches on the side, instead of where your hand automatically goes & a handy hook. I was disappointed that my hair doesn't come out as good as the Rusk finished it, but the rusk is poorly designed. Read more

This is the Dryer I always wanted in forty years in business using hairdryers to to dry Leather and Vinyl Dye on Upholstery. I need hairdryer type air, not standard heat guns for paint drying. THIS has weight showing heavy duty motor parts and everything is built to last ...the Italians are very great diligent product people and this shows it. I just blew $70 buck on two garbage hairdryers at Walgreens and crazy cheap China design of the switches broke in a few WEEKS in normal use for me.
