I just got back from my dog's walk and to my horror, during my walk, the bottom of my shoe fell off!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I walk my dogs every morning and this has never happened with any shoe. As you can see by how dirty my shoes are, it was wet and cold so to have them fall.apart on a cold, wet dog walk was frustrating and horrifying.I can't get a refund, since I purchased them a few months ago, so the only remedy I have is to write a review. Extremely disappointed!!!!! Read more

I purchased four different orthopedic shoes and kept two of them. I wanted strong arch support and a comfortable cushioned feel on the inside and an outside appearance that is somewhat stylish (i.e. trying to avoid the ugly-old-lady-shoe-look). Here’s how they rated in order from best to worst in my opinion.1) These were the best,  Orthofeet Coral Women's Comfort Orthopedic Arthritis Diabetic Orthotic Sneakers Turquoise Synthetic 8.5 W US . From the moment I got them I could wear these all day every day and my feet never hurt. They have great arch support, are flexible and super comfortable. They are what I wear 80% of the time now. I’d wear them 100% of the time except that my only complaint is that they aren’t as nice looking as my second favorite, the Vionic Kona.2) Second favorite, also 5 stars,  Vionic Kona Womens Orthotic Athletic Shoe Black/Fuchsia - 8 Medium . I kept these too. Compared to the Orthofeet they have less arch support and less cushion, but they are still quite comfortable. These are better looking than the Orthofeet shoe and they weigh less. These shoes are so light it’s like air on your feet. So, if I want to look nicer and I’m not walking all day, I wear these. If I’m going to be going to the gym or doing 15,000 steps in a day, I wear my Orthofeet.3) Returned, 3 stars, the  Vionic Women's Dash Slip-On Sneaker Grey Mint 8 M . Compared to the other two above, this shoe was not as comfortable to me, had less support in the arch and overall cushion and they have a bit of the ugly-old-lady-shoe look to me. In the picture, they looked nice, but when I put them on I just didn’t like them. It may be the Velcro instead of laces that make them appear ugly to me.4) Returned, 3 stars,  Vionic Womens Relax Slippers in Tan Size 8 . There was an area that wasn’t flat and rubbed my foot. I could tell if I wore them a long time that was going to hurt. Also, they were too heavy. It felt like I had weights on my feet. The only thing I liked about them was the soft feel of the fuzzy covering.I have a bunion on one foot and have problems with plantar fasciitis and back pain off and on. In the past, I wore Asics or Reebok athletic shoes. After wearing my new Vionic and Orthofeet shoes for a month, I do believe that orthopedic shoes are better. Read more

I'm an elderly woman with a hammer toe that began giving me serious problems about 5 months ago. I went to two different podiatrists, both of whom advised me to postpone surgery as long as possible, because recovery is slow and painful, and the operation isn't always successful. I've tried "toe separators" socks with toes, shoe inserts, sandals, and every other possible solution I could find. These shoes are the only thing that has worked. I can walk to the grocery store and back now, like I used to. I can run on the treadmill at the gym. I've waited three weeks to write this review, because problems with new shoes often don't show up the first time you wear them. I'm delighted with my Orthofeet. Read more

I received these shoes this morning. As I love to walk for weight control and my dog was due a walk, I put on these shoes and away we went. Elvis (my chiweenie) and I walked in the river walk path in our town for 2 miles. My feet, ankles and legs felt wonderful. First time in years! Why this shoe is the best:1) Fit is perfect. I have short wide feet with bad arches and weak ankles. The arch support was perfectly in place. The profile of the shoe around the base of my ankle was comfortable and secure.2) Support is awesome. My feet needs support in the arch, ankles and below the big toe due to arthritis and past injuries. This shoe supported all of those areas. No pinching or pain. Just perfect support and comfort.t3) Comfort is amazing. My feet, ankles and knees felt great after my 2 mile walk.4) They are cute. The color Is bright and stylish.Thank You Orthofeet For Making This Perfect Shoe!!! Read more

The soles of these shoes are made from very cheap material which wore through very quickly. After less than three months of 2-3x/week usage -- these shoes already have multiple holes through the sole. Don't buy these shoes if you walk. What a waste of money! Read more

I have nerve pain in my leg and foot and I've spent hundreds of dollars looking for a shoe that didn't cause more pain this past year. AND, I'm not a "shoe person". This is the first shoe I've found to help out. This won't be my last pair, I'm sure. I wish there were more color options. Read more

Very impressed with the Women's Comfort Orthopedic Arthritis Diabetic Orthotic sneaker. I don't deal well with changes of any kind. Reebok discontinued the shoes I've worn for years. I am on my feet for 10 hours a day (almost nonstop). I've worn the shoes everyday for 3 weeks and can't tell you the difference I feel when I finally get home at night !Sounds like they've got a good return policy if for some reason you didn't like them. So go for it...take a step forward in comfort ! I think you'll really be surprised ! Sandy B. Read more

The shoes were too large. Because Orthofeet does not honor Amazon purchases with their warranties for returns, I could not return the shoes. Plus the Orthofeet papers with the shoes do not stipulate that you have to purchase directly from Orthofeet to get the warranty. Finally found someone who could wear them so gave them away. Read more

I broke my ankle a few months ago and these shoes are fantastic. Although my foot is very swollen there is still room for my toes. Had to change the laces as they were too short. Read more
