I've used this before years ago. It is mostly used when you wrap your hair to get it softer. Requires sitting under a dryer or using a blow dryer to set it. That is when it is most effective. If you are doing a roller set, it makes the curls very bouncy once it has set overnight. You will need to use a firming spray to maintain the hold all day. I like it because it keeps the hair soft and moisturized, sometimes better than a conditioner. However, don't skip the conditioning step - that is still very important.
