Our (almost) 3 month old was diagnosed with Torticollis and I really needed some type of support for her head. It was not until I saw this support pillow and I saw that it had so many good reviews, that I decided to purchase it. Well I've been having it for almost a month and It helped so much with her head. It keeps her head snugged, but not too snugged that will make her feel uncomfortable. She does, from time to time manage to move the pillow, but she would have to have been wiggling for a while. I would say, if you needed a support pillow that will hold your baby's head and feel comfortable, this would be a good purchase. I am a self-proclaimed baby gear junkie and just had my third child. I have a 4-year-old, 15 months and a newborn so I am ALL about convenience. With my 15-month-old, I bought the insert for the Mamaroo because his little newborn head had no support. It's the only thing that kept him comfortable. While looking for new baby stuff, I came across this pillow and thought it was a fantastic idea for portability. We use this pillow in the MamaRoo, the swing, the car seat and on the changing pad and it's just enough support to keep her from slouching down or her head leaning too much to the side. I will caution that the "transport team" at the hospital gave me a hard time about using it in the car seat and advised I call the carseat company to make sure it was ok (so it didn't affect the safety). We had to return this. Even though our child is tall, she has always had an average sized head (usually between the 45th to 60th percentile), and this didn't fit whatsoever - for neck support, in either her rear facing, or forward facing, car seats. We tried it with her b/n the ages of 15-17 months old. Maybe it would work to help newborn to 6 month old babies, but even then, the shape is totally awkward. We used a far better neck/ head support, that could be adjusted for 3 different sizes when she was a newborn up until she turned 15 months old, and it worked great! It's just too bad she outgrew that car seat set. This one doesn't stay put in the seat and is way too narrow across, for even the pretty small necks. Read more

The flat part is not long enough. My 2 months old baby's head just barely fits in -it seems to suffocate my baby's head/ears as the elephant ears pushes in when the weight of the baby's head is applied to the flat part.I can't even return it because the seller doesn't provide free return. :-I I should've read that before I ordered it.I do not recommend. I wanted to love this pillow so bad! My 8 month old baby has a hard time sleeping in her car seat because her head falls down to her chest and her neck gets kinked, and then she wakes up crying - you all know the drill.I had tried various other pillows and none had the support I was looking for. I saw this unique design, and although I thought over $30 for an infant pillow was a little steep, I decided to go out on the limb in hopes of baby being a bit more comfortable.Upon arrival it seemed very nice, cute pattern and very soft minky-like fabric. However, after putting it in with baby in her car seat, it was too big and she felt very squished. my baby is very small for her age, but I could tell that she hated how it hugged her face. She did end up falling asleep though after a tantrum, but after about 10 minutes woke up crying again. I removed the pillow and it was wet with sweat. This same scenario played out the next few times we used the pillow.Unfortunately it just didn’t work for us due to the bulky size and the unbreathable fabric. Read more
