This is fabulous. My hairdresser first used it on my hair and it looked better than it every has. It is easy to use and doesn't leave your hair all sticky. I have very fine, straight, now thinning hair. It's short and I use a round brush and blow dryer and really need some poof. Best product I have used so far without gooping it up. Read more

So, the review I wrote below I am now revising. I ran out of my other thickener last week, and I still had this in the cupboard, so I gave it another go. This time I really sprayed it ALL through my hair - didn't spare it...something I don't normally do with other thickening products because my hair is so fine everything weighs it down and it's dull if I'm not careful. When I blow-dried it, it was amazing. Shiny, soft, had body, and smelled great. So, you went from a 3 to a 5. :)Ordered this based on some good reviews. With fine thin hair, you eventually become an expert on what works and what doesn't. This was a disappointment...didn't give much lift or oomph at all. Compared even to off-the-shelf products like John Freida, it fell short. Usually when you spend this much money on a hair product it at least smells amazing. Do I even want to know how much I have spent on this product in the last 2 years? No. Would I go a day without using it? Absolutely not. Coming back for a second bottle. First one lasted about 6 months, using 2-3 times a week. I have very straight, very fine hair, but have lots of it. My styling.routine is to wash hair, air dry and use hot rollers to put a little bounce in my very flat hair. Living in Florida the humidity just sucks the life out of everything, especially fine hair! Spritzing a small amount at the base of my hair before rolling means my hair will have a nice bounce longer. Let the hot rollers cool before removing and boom. Tons of volume for a day or two. This makes my hair so thick! They recommend spraying each section as you blow dry. My hair was so thick I changed to doing a quick spray and blow drying and my hair is still thick! If you are someone who does 2nd and 3rd day hair, you still have all the thickness. I actually wash my hair at night now, put my mouse and spray my hair with this and do a quick blow dry and style in the morning. It works great this way too. This has the right amount of weight without making my hair heavy and flat. It makes the perfect blowout--movement with hold. I'm one of those people who can't stand the smell of anything, but this smells great. If you are familiar with the other Oribe products, it doesn't smell as wonderful as the mousse or texturizing spray. This one has a bit more alcohol smell to it. Read more

This is basically the spray version of Oribe's Sculpting Cream. Again, it smells fantastic, gives great volume, but it can be a little sticky and it's definitely expensive. I have yet to find an alternative that even comes close to producing the added volume that I get when I use this product. I like the spray better than the cream because it's lighter on your hair. However, I have easily noticed that because it's a spray, some of the mist must land somewhere, so I do find myself wanting to give a quick wipe on the floor around me. Read more
