When this arrived, it was folded and rolled tightly, basically to allow it to be packaged in a smaller space. I had concerns about it folding out properly and keeping its shape, but the directions say to stuff it with pillows and blankets to help it regain its shape. It only took two small pillows and a small blanket. Within probably a day to a day and a half, I was able to take them out, and the caddy had the right shape.I would definitely suggest that you look at the measurements to make sure that this is the right-sized caddy for your needs. Just looking at the pictures, I expected it to be a little taller than it is in reality. It wasn't a huge deal. I was the one who didn't look at the measurements. It's actually worked out perfectly for its intended use. I have several heating pads and massagers that I've been storing in it. The basket has been sturdy enough that I've been able to pull it off the shelf, put it on the floor, and move it to other places without anything falling out.While I am sure that it would be great to use as a diaper caddy, it's definitely a caddy that can be used for other things as well. It has a removable insert, which I've found to be useful to sort items. Since it's removable, you can also take it out if you find that you like it better without the separate areas. I'm using this in my bathroom as a caddy for supplies like extra toilet paper, air freshener, wipes, and epsom salts. This is a small basket, and it ends up being about the right size to place on the back of a toilet.This arrives folded neatly flat. When you unfold it, there are creases and it takes it a few hours to adjust and regain its shape. I found it self-corrects on its own, so there's no need to iron or steam. It helps to put items inside it while this is happening, so that it's closer to a normal shape.The material is a dense, soft, cottony rope. It feels heavy and substantial. There are no gaps between the coils, and the construction is flawless. The inside is lined with woven, patterned cloth, and there's a separate, matching divider insert. The insert attaches in three places with strong velcro. I would describe the resulting compartments as structured, but soft; you can sort of push them a bit to accommodate bulky or oddly shaped items. It's a very forgiving container.The handles are integrated into the basket body and seamless. They're not big enough to hang over your shoulder, but easy to grab and carry. They're a little floppy, though, so they don't always stand upright. Some brands do.One of the things I love about this type of storage is that YOU CAN FOLD IT FLAT! When you're tired of it, or need to make space, you're not stuck with a bulky thing that has nowhere to go -- this folds right back up into a slim little packet anytime. Read more

I like this basket--it is 100% organic cotton and looks good in beige. The divider is removable, but not really that flexible re: positioning since it needs to connect with the velcro on each side. That said, it attaches well and the three sections it creates are useful (if someone wants to use it without the dividers, just don't put them in; it's fine.)This doesn't close on the top which will limit some situations you would bring it to (i.e. you will probably be stationary in a space--not, for example, carrying it into a restaurant, then a bathroom to a changing table, etc. You'd want to have it at home--yours or someone else's if you have things in it to change a baby. Would also be okay in a car, butIt is a very cute basket for gifting things in--not only baby gifts for showers, but other things, too, whether clothing, toys or wine/food. I know the basic idea is for a Diaper Caddy, but why not for any other carrying purpose? Our babies are long gone but this Coiled Rope Basket is perfect for anything that needs to be transported, organized, or stored. It's soft and lightweight, and very attractive. It's built for things that are lightweight like towels, any small items, whatever. The Caddy/Basket is made of braided cotton rope and stitched together to form an oval shape of approx. 14 1/2" long and 8" wide, and stands about 7 1/4" tall. The sturdy handles of the same cotton rope are around 7 1/4" tall. Inside the Basket is a pretty cotton lining of striped "ticking" pattern on white, plus some strips of Velcro sewn in to attach some same pattern stiff sections to divide the interior if wanted or needed.
