I do not know if this helped heal my c-section incision faster, but it made me FEEL good while it was healing! I started applying it at 4 days postpartum (I had a "glued" incision). It felt nice to apply and helped me keep from getting itchy and irritated. This was my first cesarean after 4 natural births so I was happy to have little things like C-Mama Healing Salve to help me get through that time. I was trying to avoid my second c section incision from keloiding like my first did. After two weeks of using this all the time I noticed it was beginning to raise up again and got some silicone scar strips instead. So far 6 weeks pp my scar has stayed flat using these. I decided to use this balm on my pregnancy stretch marks instead. Used it daily for 4 weeks, again saw no difference. I’m highly confused on why this is marketed toward women whom have had a csection when the likely hood of those women including myself breastfeeding is very high. I’m a nursing mother and made the mistake of buying this based off reviews prior to my c-section. I used it yesterday and my baby had a bout of colic all evening. This was the only thing new I used. Today I didn’t use it all has been great. So I looked into the ingredients and there it was. Organic St. John’s Wort…smh.I tried to return it but the return window closed earlier this month. I purchased this item in anticipation of my post surgery incisions. I was looking for certain ingredients that I had been researching and this contained all of them in one product. Prior to my procedure I was mutilated by my esthetician. I had Mama C on hand so opened the package and was shocked to find immediate relief and my ripped skin began healing quickly. We've been using it since, on my four young kids with all their little nicks and scrapes from playing outside. My incisions haven't healed enough to start applying ointment yet, I still have about another week before they'll be ready, but I still have plenty of ointment left (a little goes a long way). It didn't do as good as a job as another Earth Mama Salve, but it has helped some. I got it to help with my fissure problem. It has helped alittle with the healing process, but not resolved the problem for me. It has worked great on small cuts and zits! Read more

my daughter was delivered by c section in Dec 2015. I was worried about the scar since I've heard a lot of people say it doesn't go away. I had purchased the companies other products while pregnant (the morning wellness tea, milk maid tea etc) and they're all AMAZING. Anyhow, I started using this product once I got the okay from my Dr to start putting stuff on the scar. I've been using this product randomly since about feb 2016 and my scar is fading and hardly noticeable. I've gone through two bottles and purchased one more yesterday. I'm so happy with the results of this product. I'm no where near ready for a bikini, but at least when I look in the mirror I don't see this huge scar. its really a great product, its a little pricey but it works! This product has been great to help with the itchiness of my healing c section incision. (Post Op Day 20)Very small container but goes a long way! Smells good in my opinion and it has a light weight feeling on my skin.I am currently using it on my incision and my old stretch marks.As for if it helps with the appearance- I will have to check back and let you know.
