Instead of spending another $300 or more for a new custom night guard, I read a review by a noted New York dentist who recommended this Oral-B night guard. Per the easy instructions, I molded the guard within 10 minutes, let it cool and cure for an hour, and then inserted it in my mouth. It was perfect. I ordered the Oral B night guard because of all the positive reviews. However, I am very unhappy with my order and the money I wasted on this product. I followed the instructions for molding verbatim, and when the night guard finally hardened I could not remove it from the molding tray. I called customer service and was advised to stick it in the freezer for 45 minutes and then it should “pop right out.” This was not the case. I had to use a knife to crack the molding tray and then pry out the night guard. After all of this, the night guard did not even fit correctly! Tried molding (or moulding if you're Canadian) this a couple times and never was able to get it properly shaped to where it fit - it was also too small and had tabs that stuck into the roof of my mouth. I eventually said screw it and will return it. Trying to call their support number is useless - they never answer - just because it says Oral-B doesn't mean anything. Read more

Since using it now for several weeks I like it very much. It is thin and not bulky , fits well, and has no uncomfortable pressure areas in my mouth. As expected the Scope flavor is weak at best and lasts NO time. The only questionable issue I have is the seam present in the middle that rests between my 2 front teeth. This causes it to feel flimsy and prone to possibly tear in two at some point if you decide to "man handle" it for some reason. So far it is fitting my need for it and holding up well. Perhaps the purpose of the seam is to allow it to be more flexible .. Anyway, I am careful to not bend mine too sharply at the seam and it is fine. This is the only reason I did not rate it as perfect. Overall I recommend it although it is over priced compared to other choices. I guess because it is Oral B brand. Recently started using a guard since I clench and grind all night for years. It's compact in you mouth, but cushions everything just right for me. Easy to mold and remold if you need to. It's comfortable and I'm finally getting a good night's sleep. It has also greatly helped with the pain the comes with grinding teeth. Read more

This product is terrible start to finish.The package says one size fits all, but it feels as if my teeth are too large for this product. It felt like a balancing act to not just chomp clean through the mold. The instructions said that if the product doesn't fit right, just microwave it again and try again. After three attempts I got something that was semi fitting. I then let it sit for 60 minutes to harden as the instructions say. I go to pull the mold out and it wouldn't budge! After several minutes of picking and pulling the tray it sits on just snapped in half and when I went to use the mouth guard I apparently warped it trying to take it out because it didn't fit right anymore.Horrible product. This is even better than the hard, expensive ones dentists give you. It has a rubbery bite to it to give leeway to sensitive teeth that can't handle the tight-fitting hard ones the dentists make for you. My case is a little different in that I wear it during the day since I clench my jaw throughout the day unknowingly, but, if I had issues at night, this would still be perfect. The instructions were simple to follow. I'm not quite sure what they mean when they say that this has a minty flavour, as I'm not getting that at all. Having received an expensive quote from a dentist for a night guard for my crowns, I looked at alternatives. The Oral-B Nighttime Dental Guard looked suitable and I read online about how to use it. I decided it was worth a try. I received the Guard, which came with instructions. I also looked at the video online that demonstrated how to fit it using microwave heat. I found it easy to fit and comfortable to wear at night. It is thin and light (I have a small mouth) and does the job of protecting my crowns. I recommend this product as an economic option.
