I have a nerve disorder caused by maxillofacial surgery malpractice that resulted in chronic tooth and gum sensitivity and chronic mouth pain. Oragel 3x for Mouth Sores: Maximum Strength Gel Tube includes menthol which burns on contact with sensitive gums. It also has a strong sickly sweet taste that, along with the menthol, is nauseating. The last thing I want in a mouth pain reliever is a burning sensation and disgusting taste that increases the discomfort and pain that the product is advertised to soothe. The gel also causes a strange texture that is visible in my mouth and on my finger after application. Why the heck would I want burning menthol and the strong taste of synthetic sweetener in a product that is advertised to treat mouth pain and toothaches?
