I don't agree that people give a bad review to products that have nothing to do with the quality of the product. Does creatine work! YES! Work out as instructed and take the daily doses! but stop giving this and other products bad review because the capsule is to big, the bottle was open, doesn't have taste, or better i have to take 4... C'mon!!!! Does this product work!!!! simple question, YESSSSSS!!!! it takes time and instructions need to be follow and you'll see results. thank you! Read more

I made the mistake of looking at the 150 servings and assuming that was at 5g per serving since the pure powder is listed at 5g/serving. Makes no sense to have these listed at 2.5g/serving when it's the exact same product but with caps. Make sure you read the servings ratio and how much of the product that you are receiving.I always buy the pure powder from this brand which is 5g/serving with 115 servings @ $14. These caps are 2.5g per serving (2 caps) with 150 servings at $24 (i bought mine on sale for $14). If you're going by the 5g per serving standard, which most people do, then you're really only getting 75 servings. 115 Powder servings for $14 just seems much better than 75 capsule servings for $24. You're paying $10 MORE for 40 servings less. Heck, if you have a prime member ship you can buy the full 4.4lb year supply (380 servings) for $38. Even if they provided equal amounts of servings I don't think an extra $10 is worth it.Are these convenient? Yes. Are they worth the money? Maybe not unless you get it on sale. Even on sale I'm not so sure it was worth the purchase. Also, this isn't a knock on the creatine. I like the creatine, just not the price of the capsule forms. Read more

Good bang for your buck. Creapure creatine is really the only kind you should get whatever the label. ON or optimum nutrition is a stable and large brand but any of the major brands that use creapure will be fine. Don't get the cheap chinese stuff as saving a buck or two isn't worth the lower quality.Quick primer on creatine is that it does help your muscle performance but a little known advantage is that creatine is a neuroprotectant which is why so many athletes didn't suffer brain damage to the extent they should have based on their profession. It can help with migraines. For diabetics since it helps muscles hydrate and function better it means the muscles will uptake glucose faster which means less glucose in the bloodstream. Functionally this means that creatine administration will blunt postprandial glucose spikes which in plain language means that your glucose after eating won't get as high as it would and it is the highs that do the damage to your body. 1/25/2022 UPDATECreatine has been one of the most useful supplements I've found in terms of improving my performance and strength. I estimate it gives me about 10-15% more power/endurance during my workouts. I can actually feel the difference when I stopped taking it for a bit in the off-season (got tired sooner, had less power when pushing, became more sore after). If the capsules are too big, you can pop them open and put them into your water or smoothie...the powder dissolves really easily with no clumps and doesn't have an odor or taste. Before starting, I'd suggest checking with your doctor or nutritionist just to make sure it will be ok for you. I've also come across some research showing good results for folks who are over 60 and struggling with muscle atrophy, the research is suggestive that it's a good supplement to take to help that.ORIGINAL REVIEWI like taking these when I'm not able to make my smoothie that day because they're easy to pack on the go. You have to take 4 of these per day to get the full 5g and they're relatively large capsules, however, pretty smooth and go down easy enough with liquid. I've noticed some improvement in my endurance after starting taking these. Some recommend loading by taking 8 per day for the first week or so though if you take 4 a day for about 3 weeks at the regular rate, it will work just as well. Read more

This is not pure creatine--it has a filler in it that caused abdominal pains every time I took even just one capsule. I opened a capsule to compare the powder to pure creatine. This product with filler blobs up in liquid and does not mix in at all, so it probably does not absorb well. I switched back to pure creatine powder and the pains disappeared. Read more

So, I started taking creatine about two months ago, and the results I've seen have been impressive. I won't write this review on the benefits of creatine, however, as the research on the supplement is substantial. If you would like to know how effective creatine is, just go google "how effective is creatine" and you'll have thousands of articles in seconds. I want to address the pill specifically as compared to using powder.Yes, the pill is rather large, but I have no problem swallowing the pill and I would not think the size should be a problem for any adult. Just remember, they're trying to fit 2.5 grams of creatine into two pills so they're going to be big. I take them one at a time, and have had no issues. I read a review that said they suspected the pill had fillers in it because they experienced stomach pains. I wanted to see if there were fillers so I opened one up and I can confirm it's pure. As I said, there have been hundreds of studies on creatine and one of the potential side effects is stomach pains, I have never experienced this problem, but if you do, try taking it with a meal.In conclusion, I love taking this as opposed to using powder. Even the unflavored powder tastes like mixing sawdust in your water. This pill is not only faster than mixing powder into your drink, but it is also takes away the gag impulse you have while drinking the powder. I 100% recommend the pill over the powder! Once I started taking the pill it was way easier to be consistent in taking the daily dosage, because I could take it so much faster. Now, if it makes any difference, I did some math and the pill is a bit more expensive than the powder form. For me it's worth the extra expense because I found the powder to be truly disgusting after a while. Hope this was helpful! Enjoy! Read more
