So disappointed in OPI it was my go to nail polish for 20+ YEARS!!! About 4 years ago I found “Mod about You” on their website and ordered it. I absolutely LOVED it, it was a GREAT light Pink color that was opaque, I always got compliments and would share the name with ladies. I went back and ordered 2 more bottles, then I started seeing it in retail stores so I would buy there. SOMEWHERE over this past year or two the formula/color was changed to a very sad pink color BUT it was still using the same name. When you look on their Website it still shows it as that GREAT original color but when you get your order it’s NOwhere CLOSE to that color. I am also finding that with this color. It is a cute bubble gum pink which I thought would work on my toes but again I get this sad Pink color. I have a grave yard of that Sad Pink color because I forget that Amazon will not take it back. I get it they would not be able to sell it BUT OPI NEEDS to make sure that their colors that they are selling to AMAZON MATCH their stock pictures BECAUSE they DO NOT!!!!! Shame on OPI for selling colors that are nowhere CLOSE to the color shown and then not accept a return. I would like to send them my collection of the sad pink color that is the same shade or a tweak different but to the consumer it looks like the same color. I would like to get OPI’s address and person who develops the colors because what you think is being sold is NOWHERE close to what you think you are!!!!! I have added pictures of the bottle I received and then the label so you could see it matched to the name. I am sorry if I offended anyone with Sad Pink Color but compared to what I got that was my best description. First, this polish looks nothing like the lovely fall plum color pictured on my monitor. It's more grey and lifeless. Secondly, I ordered two bottles by accident (definitely my mistake), but now that I've been denied the opportunity to return them, I have wasted $25. Finally, it seems both unfair and unreasonable that Amazon can ship nail polish to a customer, but it deems a return shipment unsafe. My advice: shop locally for polish so that you can see the color before you buy it! Read more

I loved the color Arigato from Tokyo and Tempura-ture is Rising. The color Another Ramen-tic Evening was not as pictured and didn't look good. It has a chalky pink, streaky appearance and is too girly for me. If you are looking for shine close to a gel you have to OPI Infinite Shine 2 not the other kind. Normally polish doesn't stay on my nails. The photo shows one coat with no top or bottom polish. It lasted a week without chipping.The downside is that if you don't like a color, you can't return it. I purchased "Another Ramen-tic Evening" color which looks like a pink bubble gum color online. I know monitors won't show the exact color, but this is a completely different pink tone from how it looks online. It's a light pink, pretty exact match to "mauve pink" if you google the color. This is the all dreams in vending machines color. I did step one of the infinite shine then this color. At first I was thinking it's not as dark as it looks in the bottle. I did about 3 coats before it was covering like I wanted. Then I put on the step 3 infinite shine. Wow, I love it, especially looking at it outside. It is so shiny with two coats of step 3. Love this shade! I’ve spent years looking for a replacement for my life long fav shade of “shocker “ by Rimmel bearing in mind it’s a shade from 2011? Over time it dried up and was unusable. However last week I stumbled over a review of this shade and a beauty happened to mention this was a dupe of the shade shocker! Order was placed via Amazon and once again my tootsies look yum! I was going to buy Jessica s Kensington Rose but thought I would try this. The picture shows a bright pink, this is very flat. However the big problem is that it doesn’t cover well. I put one coat on and it was so patchy and blotchy. I put on another and not much better. Even a third coat didn’t look perfect. I use OPI all the time and have never come across anything like this. I am loathe to put £14s worth of nail varnish straight in the bin but that’s what’s going to happen as it is truly horrible. Read more

This is a beautiful shade of orchid pink that has a rich creamy formula that glides on smoothly with no streaking or patches and I was delighted to find that it looked great with just 1 coat - great when I’m in a rush - but giving it 2 coats gave it an extra rich and glossy appearance and built the colour and smoothness of this polish up beautifully.I’m finding I actually love this colour more than I thought I would as it has an amazing richness and shine when on the nail that you just can’t see when looking at the bottle!
