Reykjavik Has...is now my signature polish! Depending on the angle of light, it kind of changes from a glossy pinkish nude to a lovely shimmering mauve. By that I don’t mean iridescent! This is the exact color I was looking for this fall! So pretty in indoor and outdoor lighting. I used 2-3 coats. The polish itself gets kind of goopy if you have the wand out for too long so be cautious. It layers nicely if you have to redunk your wand in the polish. Not too difficult to clean off of my skin. I bought "You're such a BudaPest", the color is beautiful and exactly what I expected(after looking up the color on pinterest to see in different lighting). It went on smooth and needed 2 layers. Holds up well with OPI top coat. It doesn't match my other OPI bottles because OPI changed their bottle around Sept. 2017...but the bottle is legit and OPI Quality. I purchased this bottle by going to the official OPI website and putting this polish in my cart then it redirected me to this page on Amazon to complete my order. Lincoln Park After Dark is by far and away my favorite nail polish color. It's the perfect blend of black and aubergine. This is my go to polish since it looks good with everything I wear. OPI polishes are consistently great quality and with proper application technique last for a long time. In fact, the polish I have on right now is five days old has gone through one night of drinking, one day of baking, a baptismal party, a family reunion and has exactly one tiny chip out of it. Just loved this new color from their Scotland line once I saw it, plus it was a great value! Even basic (not gel) OPI colors are reliable and last a long while (after using base coat, two coats of this shade and top coat). With very little touch ups one can even go 10-12 days, so it’s a deal! Plus this shimmery plum looks great and is perfect for Fall. ‘Purple With A Purpose’ is a gorgeous shade of dark lilac purple with a beautiful pink shimmer. In dim light it looks to me like a dark purple creme but catch it in bright light and it is a bright purple rainbow of sparkling colour and is quite mesmerising!The first coat was fairly streaky although that could have been my application as I did do quite a thin layer and the second coat did seem to even it out and it looked opaque at first glance, but at some angles I could still see a slight streak here and there so had to go 3 coats, it was worth it as it gave a fabulous depth of colour - exactly like the bottle - and as it dries quickly it wasn’t a chore! I also finished it with OPI RapidDry top coat (Amazon product code B002TLT3EM) and I felt this gave it added shine.At £13.50 it is a premium priced nail polish but then it is a premium quality product from the world leader in professional nail care and, in my opinion, worth every penny. This is a deep purple creme that is so rich and dark and has a beautiful glossy shine. I usually prefer purples with a shimmer but after trying this I’m converted. I like how it looks against my pale skin and i was pleased to see that it didn’t make my hands look washed out like most dark colours do, it even seemed to make my nails look neater and longer, I really like this colour, in fact, I didn’t think I’d like it on as much as I do!It was a little streaky on the first coat and with the second coat it looked better but at some angles I could still see a faint streak so 3 coats it was! This made it fully opaque and added to the overall richness of the final result and as it dried quickly it didn’t take long at all to do.
