Love this mirror. It’s so cute and shiny. Very compact at about 2.8 inches each side (including metal closure) with one side being 3x magnified. It seems to be of good quality material like a silicone cover and seems it will last long. Opens and closes nicely, nothing to complain about. If the most reassuring thing you do when you first wake up is to see if your impeccable appearance is still intact, or to check for vital signs of breathing, get this little mirror. Bear in mind too that, as an older man, I just don't know from one day to the next if my nose or ears are sprouting without one of these. Saves a trip to the bathroom mirror, where you're too far away to actually see any pertinent details; plus the lighting is unnatural and unforgiving anyway. Small and slim…perfect for a smaller purse. Has both regular and magnifying mirrors. Opens and closes very easily with magnetic opener. Leather-like covering makes it easy to hold in your hand.The only negative is that it has no light. My fault that I did not look for this in the details…but this is a big negative. I use a compact mirror the most when I am in darker rooms. I will try this mirror but will probably end up looking for a compact mirror with lights. It is perfect for what I needed. A inexpensive, no frills, compact mirror. One side is a regular mirror and the other magnifies slightly. I use it at the office and keep it in my desk drawer. I didn’t think I’d need or want the magnification side, but I find myself using that one more. It is strong enough to see things better but not too much where every motion is exaggerated and makes it hard to see your self. Read more

On the third use, the black side casing of the mirror (not sure if glass or highly polished metal but reflection is good and not distorted) is cemented or adhesive is used to attach to reverse side of both mirrors and BOTH sides just came apart. I opened mirror where you are supposed too and wound up with Black siding in my hand while mirror remained closed. Can't use because sticky on reverse side of mirror as sides now keeps falling off. 1 Star rating is being Black sides fell off, not best for traveling, for sure not sturdy, so poor value for the money.
