Great product for very dry eyes and blepharitis. Also lowered my triglycerides back into normal ranges. And I feel smarter. :) Helps joint pain and flexibility. My recent blood work was excellent in terms of the lipid panel. I was convinced by several reviews on this site to try this product. I concur and I am always a skeptic. The product I was using previously was Thera Tears..just was not working for my severe dry eye issue. Had botched cataract surgery.Really appreciate the Amazon review community. Guides me to try or not try new products. Have found you decent Americans out there to be just like good neighbors when it comes to recommendations. I was desperate over my eyes..they watered constantly...those toxic tears were destroying the skin around my eyes too...vision was awful..I was given monovision ...do not get monovision unless you fully vet that you are a good candidate..I was a poor neuroadapter...some are great at it..not me..lost all my depth perception...have already fallen and broken my wrist due to that loss of depth perception..but back to product....started on it about 120 days ago.....big change with this product and my hair and skin looks better. I hardly ever take the time to write reviews but this product was so impressive and beneficial for me that I felt compelled to share my experience. My primary purpose for taking a fish oil was at my doctor's suggestion for lowering my bad cholesterol without increasing my dosage of Crestor. After just 3 months of using this particular product (not 100% consistent)and doing nothing else different with my diet, exercise, or pill regimen, my blood work results showed a 31 point drop in my LDL cholesterol and an almost 10 point increase in my HDL!! In addition, I also saw improvement in my occasional difficulty with dry eyes resulting in my being able to leave my contacts in for longer periods without discomfort. Despite the relatively higher cost of this product, I will definitely continue using it for the heart health benefits and would recommend it to others. Read more

Bought this for my husband as his opthomologist/surgeon recommended it. He had Salzmann's and because of that he had to have both eyes operated on to remove the nodules. His surgeon said the Omega 3 fish oil capsules would help with the healing and the lubrication of his eyes. He has noticed a definite positive as far as the lubrication of his eyes is concerned. He had been having to put cream in his eyes every night before sleeping in order to keep them from crusting over from the dryness. I have taken fish oil for two reasons; the first reason is to lessen the problems that arthritis causes in my joints, and the second reason is to help heal the lining of my stomach. I'm positive of the first result as I've not experienced the pain in my joints as I had, the second is a longer term process plus the elimination of sugar from my diet. I'm finding eliminating sugar rather difficult but reducing it has helped my digestion and regularity. My blood work for my annual physical had definitely improved. Blending diet and exercise to avoid a flare up from arthritis pain is a wonderful experience. I can hike again into the mountains and enjoy it. Read more

Never mind these unappy reviewers from 2014...that was ages ago.Mine arrived just fine, no pills stuck together, no broken pills, all good.This batch is double -strenght, but I'm not convinced it's necessary for the average human.How much freakin' fish fat would we ever eat if we lived in Alaska?? Not this much.But it's all good. the mega dose they advertise is for TWO pills.I just go ahead and take one a day.Why?Well, a recent article in the NYTimes (Jan, 2019) cites a recent study that shows that people who took fish oil 60 of the past 90 days had allsorts of benefits. Including larger testicles and higher sperm count. Never a bad idea.It's also supposed to help the eyes.
