My hair dresser had this brush and as soon as she used it on my head I knew I had to have it. She told me the name and I bought it the same day. It did not disappoint. My hair in thick but fine and tangles fairly easy. My hair is mid back in length and this detangles my hair without pain or breakage whether its wet or dry. After about five months of daily use, I am disappointed to report that a number of the round, plastic finish on the bristles have fallen off. I noticed the brush hurting my scalp as I ran it through my hair and this is the reason why. As long as the round finish is present, there’s no problem. Once they’ve fallen this brush scrapes needle-like against your scalp. I didn’t use it with heat and wasn’t carelessly storing the brush. This brush is a disappointment. Read more

I LOVED this brush when I first bought it, even sent them to my mom and niece. I have had the brush for six months and more than half the bristle heads are gone meaning it’s scratches/ hurts my head and doesn’t detangle like it used to. I have the medium and the thick brushes. The medium feels perfect for me. The thick one has stiffer bristles that hurt my sensitive scalp. This is my 2nd medium brush from Olivia Garden. The first one broke after a year or so like some others have reported. That being said this is my absolute favorite brush and I will buy them regardless of them breaking in the future because it’s better than any other brush I’ve tried in the past. I bought this brush at Ulta. I have a lot of fine hair that tangled easily and was in the market for a new brush. The iDetangle hair brush does a wonderful job of detangling my hair. The curved brush head feels like it was molded to my head. My only complaint is the handle is hard to grip without my hand slipping up towards the bristles.I bought one for my mom on Amazon since she was envious of the one I purchased and her Ulta was out of stock. The best brush!I purchased one from a local beauty store. After a few months the tips came off a few bristles which made it painful to use. I have struggled with my daughter's hair for several years. Brushing daily, didn't matter. I would still spend 30 to 45 minutes brushing knots out. I tried so many different products and brushes to try to ease this difficulty to no avail, until this brush. This goes through her thick hair in about 5 minutes. I've been using this brush on my hair when it's still wet, and it works pretty well for that. It's made of some soft plastic stuff and feels good in the hand, and is well designed for gently working out tangles after a shower. I use a different hairbrush the rest of the time because my hair's pretty thick and the bristles on this one are too flexible to manage it. Read more
