This is a salon type styling brush that I discovered from my hairstylist and searched for online. I loved the fact that the bristles did NOT tangle my fine textured hair when I rolled the brush thru as I blew my hair dry. I also loved the volume that the medium size brush gave me and how fast I was able to style my hair with this brush due to the ion metal component of the brush. HOWEVER....BEWARE the brush end is also metal and heats up very fast with a hot blow dryer!!! The first time I styled my hair, I accidentally touched my neck with the edge of the brush as I was flipping my hair under and burned my neck! It felt like a hot branding iron! It's been 4-5 weeks since I burned my neck and the burn mark is still visible! So be very careful when operating this brush with a hot blow dryer. Read more

I am seriously in love with this brush. I'm a 51 year old woman whose hair has always been her thing. This brush does a great job of straightening my hair and it had a nice feel to it right from the get-go. I know some of these brushes need to be "softened" or warmed up before using but this one took no break-in time. I consider myself to be pretty skilled at drying hair, so the huge size may be hard for those not used to drying their hair every day for years and years. But I have no trouble using it.The bristles are strong but they do not pull my hair one bit yet they are soft and do not hurt the scalp. I've had issues with some brushes breaking (I've broken about 4) at the handle but this one is solid and is built in a way that I cannot crack it.I've had tons of compliments since I got the brush and questions about my "new haircut," but I have to tell them it's my brush. I have very curly hair as you can see in the first picture. I like to wear my hair straight just because it's more manageable. But it is a pain to blow dry long curly hair, it takes a while and by the end, my arm is in pain because of the big round brush I was using. My hairstylist used this brush to give me big Victoria Secret voluminous wavy hair last time I saw her. So I bought this brush and boy am I glad I did! It is light as a feather! Now my arm doesn't hurt anymore, and because it's ceramic it heats up and locks the heat in so my hair looks so shiny when I straighten it. Pro tip from my hairstylist: Use the cool air on your blowdryer towards the end of your drying to lock in shine! Read more

OMG, can I just say I have searched my entire life for a brush that works as well as this one! It never gets stuck in your hair which is the problem most of us have with all of these round brushes I have really line, fine, thin hair that tangles easily and it never gets stuck in this brush. I did a lot of research to find this brush! You will not regret buying this! I told my sister to get one and she said it is the best money she has ever spent on any beauty product! I know there are a few people on here saying this brush gets caught in their hair! Well, this is definitely user issue! Those people are crazy! How the heck are you getting this stuck in your hair? If you are getting it stuck then you are using the wrong size, or your are trying to brush through too much hair at once, or you are just trying to get your hair stuck in it! BEST BRUSH EVER - ignore the people who are saying the size was not what they expected - Ummm there are lots of sizes and if you got the wrong size that is your fault and no reason to leave poor feedback for the item. I bought this as a replacement for an older version of the same brush that I've used for at least 10 years. Love this brush for drying and straightening my naturally curly medium length hair. It's lightweight and comfortable to use. The bristles don't melt from the heat of blow drying.Have never burned myself on the barrel, or had my hair stick to or tangle around the handle, as some reviewers experienced. It seems like those issues are likely due to technique rather than the brush.I use high heat on my blow dryer, but I only hold the brush by its handle--not the end of the barrel, and I'm drying one section at a time. I also don't hold the brush still in one spot while aiming the hot air directly on the brush until the metal is hot enough to burn skin.This is my favorite round brush and the 2 1/8" size is great for creating lift at the roots and straightening the rest. Other reviewers were unhappy because they burned themselves with this brush. It does get hot and like any other heat styling tool, you have to exercise caution when using. I think it works great on my hair. I didn’t give it five stars because it does pull hair occasionally when the hair gets caught in the seem but I haven’t found a brush that doesn’t do that.
